Hello everyone who has been having issues, I have figured out what this video has failed to tell us. FIRST STEP, you need to make sure your printer is on! Otherwise you won't be able to get to your ink cartridges. Hope this helped someone.
After trying myself and then watching this video i still couldnt do it.. so i read comments and down below... a person said. what the video does not tell u is .. you have to have the printer turned on to be able to access the cartridges.. and they were right :) ty ty
I'm not a computer genius, but thanks to this video I was able to change the cartridge in less than 5 minutes . so thank you for that, now my only suggestion...it will help if you add Audio....:)
For you guys that think have the lock things for the ink cartridge are missing, check the left side and you'll see the gray locks on the other side. Just push it to where it belongs
START by turning off the printer, then turning it back on. The carriage that carries the two cartridges will not slide over unless this is done first!!!!
hey can you please help me? for some reason where you put the cartridges on the bottom it seems it has been stained with a lot of ink and color ink, decided to buy new cartridges and the printer still lights that something is wrong with the cartridges
for some reason I can't even open my Black Ink Cartridge side. It is too far to the right to even open it up. Is this a printer defect or is that normal for this series?
Hi Emmanuel, Make sure the printer is plugged in and powered on. Once you life the cover open the ink carriage should slide over to allow access to the ink cartridges! We hope this helps!
Its not in terms of installing the cartridge itself. I already did that fine. I wanted to replace the cartridge, but for some reason the color cartridge doesn't allow me to remove it. Even with force it wont come out. With the black and white cartridge, Look at the video and imagine seeing the black compartment more to the right. So much that it is physically impossible to replace the blank ink cartridge.

Please let us know what you're missing and we'll be glad to point you in the right direction. We look forward to your reply!
