Sadly, many human skin books were actually commissioned by medical doctors, who had access to cadavers
As usual, neat-if-macabre acts of potential self expression *ruined* by actual freaks that don't jive with my narrative!
I mean, when you think about it, the human body itself is something of an anatomical textbook bound in human skin.
One of them was commissioned by an executed criminal in his will
[references the *meat* deck from that one “Safety Third”]
Okay, "Doo Gloab Eirow Statteak" is adorable.
I hope Justin never advances his attainment of foreign languages so we never lose the gems that are his attempts at pronunciations.
It's the dutch transliteration XD
Afrikaans vibes on that one for sure
The inclusion of the atmospheric railroad at 0:49 was a nice touch.
It's also recycling!
my dumb ass saw the human skin balloon and went "oh somebody got a tattoo of a butt that says WOW, that's so me"
You have to turn it upside down to M for Mumbo!
would you get a tattoo of a butt on your butt?
There was a dark period where I merely listened to the podcast with slides, thereby deprived of its visual medium. Thanks to you, I am revisiting Episode 49: Hindenburg with tall shots of Pernod, Canadian whisky, Tombstone pizza, and grape Gatorade Zero to wash it all down. Probably explains all the meds I take. I envy your skills to make something great even greater. Sláinte!
Thanks! Like wine at the opera, I can tell you've good judgement for the culinary pairings with such high-brow entertainment! Just don't end up in a segment of Safety Third the following day! I don't know how many X-Boxes you'd be compensated anyway...
Is the Canadian whiskey made in a microclimate?
Listening to this on the radio while stuck in traffic outside Charlotte, North Carolina is something I will remember for a long time
Oddly specific, but neat! Shame you missed out on the slides. In this podcast. about. engineering disasters.
with slides.
Well occasionally I would look down at the phone in the map tray thing when someone would say “Jesus Christ” or something.
L'Université de L'Wokisme
Vive la Woke!
The wheel spins and lands on France, in a surprisingly refreshing subversion of the rest of the base episode, which is shitting on Prussia and Germany!
Thank you very much for introducing me to this awesome podcast - I'm listening it every day.
Be careful, the Pennsylvania Surgeon General has stated that prolonged exposure to the chemical WTYP may have the following side effects: Sense of impending doom, discontent with existing economic systems, autism, and substantial accumulation of facts.
@@CamstonIsland Well now I'm even more into it, all boxes checked, apart from autism - that one I've already had🤣🤣🤣
@@CamstonIslandYou forgot a pathological obsession with trains.
Your drawing of Roz at 1:58 reads so perfectly like a Calvin and Hobbes panel. Your style is great, it manages to be super expressive despite its simplicity. Great work! I'll be binging the rest of these lol
Thanks :D I love Calvin and Hobbes
shoutout to the algorithm for serving me this video, i will now be watching all of your videos
Yay! Praise be Algorithmius!
what a wonderful show
Indubitably!
I really love the creepy laugh at the end of the segment. Good stuff!
Hey just thought you might want to know: when he mentioned "inflammable air" that means hydrogen not helium
Bother, that's what I meant to put!
Inflammable means flammable? What a country!
I feel like this is something I'd remember happening. I'm scared xD
*SHAKE HANDS WITH DANGER*

1:26 i love the Star Trek The Animated Series style reaction shot closeup :D
Liam wants to know if you are seeing this shit
Human skin is rather crap for leather; it's too thin thanks to our gentle lifestyles.
That's why it puts the lotion on its skin. ua-cam.com/video/20z4edLGxHE/v-deo.html&ab_channel=OmRecords
[November at the CPAC Podium asset from the Rat Smoothie episode] "This is why we need to bring back corporal punishment in schools"
@@CamstonIsland 'Cause we are living in a corporeal world
And I am a corporeal (dom trans) girl
... oh, CORPORAL. Well, hell, it's practically the same thing.
It's a book cover, it's not welding gloves. Sometimes you want the soft and dainty leather.
@@AlRoderick books bound in 100% genuine twink leather
This video is named just like a Fabulous 413 episode
"a kind of "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" for grown-ups", that sounds quite lovely :D
love these videos. why did you draw mia mulders face like that
Thanks! I like to give each character a distinctive head shape, and I felt a rectangle with a rounded top looked about right, in contrast to bumpy oval Justin, rounded trapezoid Liam and circular November. The glasses are a stylised version of the ones she wears in some of her videos, round-ish with a flatter top, in contrast to November's rounded glasses and Liam's rectangle ones. Also she has these bits of hair (I don't know anything about barber terminology) that frame her face sometimes, and I thought it would make for a distinctive hairline, though I hope they don't look like eyebrows in hindsight...
Nice!

Yeah what the fuck I don’t remember this bit at all
It's pretty straight forward- there are balloons, they are made of human skin, and acid is involved at some point.
@@CamstonIsland The Acid is what you were tripping on when you decided to make human balloons
@@hp67c Hey, it was simply the *only* material to make them at the time, what can I say?
@@CamstonIsland Well... I guess no matter where you go... there you (and other members of your species) are. The raw material that's always there and which even makes more of itself.
Camston, your art style looks like Quentin Blake's! Imagine Homeward and Badfort WTYP episodes
Thanks, I've never made that connection before! Drawing in a sketchy style has proven to be fun, at least for me :D
@@CamstonIsland Yay!
I'm trying to find the song bit can't
AAAAAA
Shake Hands with Danger?
I believe the balloon at 0:42 should be H rather than He right?
Indeed! I was a victim of the English Language and its use of 'flammable' and '*in*flammable' and *synonyms*- I just thought 'Helium isn't flammable! that must be what the sulfuric acid and iron make!', completely forgetting that the subject of the episode, the **Hindenburg** was very much flammable indeed!
now youve made a trans cup for these vids, i want Matt of the techdiff crew to get a nonbinary flag cup to rep his gender
Are they nonbinary? I follow the Chris Joel approach of being at most minimally aware of happenings on __Twitter__ the XXX.gov site- I only found out 'Alice' changed their name to November yesterday when someone commented about it on the shitpost elevator music animation!
@@CamstonIsland He is nonbinary and still uses he/him pronouns :3 He came out i think two yrs ago now, i know someone linked me his twitter post about it before
@@CamstonIsland Found the post again, he also came out as neurodivergent in that post :3

Binary gender and its stereotypes have never made sense to me. I feel no need to categorise myself, but I suppose I could be described as a non-binary man. My pronouns are still he/him. (Just because I’m happy with my pronouns it doesn’t mean other people are. Respect them.)"
I do rec readin the whole thread tho, easy enuf to find by searchin Matt Gray Nonbinary
Very nice but Mia is nowhere close to tall enough, lmao
