Where to place the adjectives in French - BEFORE or AFTER the noun ? | French for beginners

- Knowing where to place French adjectives in a sentence can be tricky because we use both, before and after the noun. Most of the time, the adjective will be placed after the noun. But in some cases, aka BAGS, the adjective is BEFORE the noun.

This was great, I been tryin to find out about "designer handbags at wholesale prices" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Teyadoon Unflappable Transcendence - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? It is an awesome exclusive product for discovering how to find luxury or designer goods at wholesale or lower prices minus the normal expense. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my partner got cool results with it.
This is soooo helpful. I won't be afraid of adjective placements anymore after watching this video. MERCI BEAUCOUP!!!! :)

Does adjective placement have anything to do with the number of syllables in an adjective?
Milleerci pour cette video
Merci beaucoup madam!
Merci à toi :)
Hi Dylane! Very great course. I faced a question and appreciate your advice. I wonder how to tell in french "how hard students studied! or how nice the weather is" . These are not question-based sentences, they are informative sentences. I tried to tell them through could not. Should we use combient or comme? Thanks so much
I think the best way to ask in French is "je me demande si les étudiants ont étudié dur - Je me demande s'il fait beau - etc :)
Bonn Soir Madame.
Vou video is as good and informative as good as vou are.
Abientot.
Merci Devendrajit 🙂
C'est leçon très facile pour moi!
une bonne leçon!
Merci David 🙂
Salut madame! Un autre bon video, c'est un sujet qui peut etre un peu difficile a souvenir. Est-ce que "mince" est avant le mot aussi, car c'est une taille?
Mince est aussi une exception : Une femme mince - A skinny woman 😉
Bonjour Dylane et comment allez vous! Excellent video, j'adore beaucoup, merci madam.
Je vais très bien merci, et vous ?
Bonsoir Madame.
It's all really interesting lesson.
Abientot.
Thank you! 😃
USE THE SUBTITLES AND WHEN SHE SAID A NICE DAY (9:09) IT WILL COME AS A NICE DAY FO DIE LOL 😂
Merci dylane
De rien Prishita 🙂
Bonjour dylane,, it's very helpful for begginers 👍 Can you please put a pronounciation column after french word in pdf ?? specially in begginers videos and current video lessons pdf , because it's very difficult to exact pronounciation of letters in sentences for begginers !!
It would be difficult to include that in my old PDFs but my pronunciation course is coming in less than a month 🙂
Bonjour Dylane ! Comment allez-vous ? J'ai une question. Où mettre l'adjectif "ancien"?
Merci beaucoup
L'adjectif ancien se place aussi avant et après le nom
Par exemple :
Un ancien ami - A former friend
Une hôtel ancien - An ancient hotel
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane Merci beaucoup Dylane
How about "long" and "court"? Are these adjectives considered "size"? Why does Duolingo say "Elle a les longues jambes." and "Elle a les courtes jambes." wrong? Thanks!
Long et court are very specific because they can be used before or after. In your examples, I will have them after, for example. It sounds funny like this.
Jolie institutrice
How do you say "the fourth time" in French ?
La quatrième fois 🙂
[1]
Est-ce le mot chien a une forme de feminin?
Oui, on dit : Un chien - Une chienne
C'est un peu comme en anglais "A bitch", donc à utiliser avec précaution 😉
Salut à vous.
Salut 👋

Tu es une belle femme. C'est une leçon utile!
Très bonne utilisation de Belle et Utile 😉
@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane Merci Dylane!
