I had a rare opportunity to film and since I haven't seen something like this (an actual make-ready) on UA-cam, I thought I might as well film it. I'll be posting the video on Saturday. I also wanted to thank all of you who watch, comment and subscribe. You are awesome and I couldn't ask for a better community of people.
I love your videos. I worked in the industry for over thirty years. I started out working on the back end of the machine then worked my way up to operator. I trained and worked on an old international speed king for about ten years. Finally got to work on a Bobst. Had a back injury that forced me to retire early. It’s been hard to find any good videos on the folding carton industry especially gluer make ready and production runs. You do a great job really care about the workmanship. I know the hours are long customer demand but you should be proud because the work you do is a very skilled. Thanks for the great videos.
Thank you for the kind words Eddie. As you can imagine, It is very difficult trying to plan out a video... Work ALWAYS comes first and when you're busy doing your quality checks, keeping up with the glue, making small adjustments if needed mid-run, etc. it's hard to grab some quick footage lol. I'm glad you like the videos and knowing people like them gives me motivation. Hope you're having a good weekend!
@ my 20 years of experience I learned a lot but watching your videos..man your to far away..I still have a lot of rice to eat that's what they say in my country 😂😂😂
Here in the US. in the South, we have a similar expression... "You've got a long row to hoe" It's a farming expression that means the same thing. (I grew up on a farm)
