This story is GREAT! Regardless of the fact that I've listened to several audiobook versions, I fully enjoy this story. The narrator was excellent, but, lol, he didn't put me to sleep which may have been the intent of this site. I mean come on, who could fall asleep to thus story especially the second part concerning the mormons. It would behoove the listener to do a Google search on the second half of this story to get a better feel for the background of the storied history. Great reading, THANK YOU!
Hey thanks for these - very much appreciated. Love that I can fall asleep and then pick it up when I wake - may take a few times to hear the story through but it keeps me in a sleepy state.
I never knew how somewhat adversarial the Watson/Holmes dynamic was to begin with. Also, it’s funny to me hearing Watson recount his time in Afghanistan, having served there myself. Suppose funny in the morbid sense.
Doubtful they can do that. Holmes is in the public domain, they aren't breaking any copyright laws. The Heir to the Empire trilogy, the Hand of Thrawn duology, the new canon Thrawn trilogy, and the newer Thrawn: Ascendancy trilogies are already in audiobook format and narrated by the talented Marc Thompson. Just be aware that the Heir to the Empire books Thrawn has a richer, deeper, more commanding voice as you would expect from someone of his rank. The newer canon books were done after a voice actor had been cast to portray Thrawn in the animated series, so Thompson changed the voice to better match the portrayal from the series.
Lol..I'm still waiting for Sherlock to come out of this crazy lcd-induced mormon country western story: "By jove Watson, the plot thickens. I just had the most peculiar hallucination. One moment I was hot on the scent of a murderer in the dreary alleys of London, and the next thing I new, I was a Marlboro man in Utah. I think my deduction reasoning was a little off...because this is not elementary my dear Watson, not elementary at all lol
A study in scarlet has the mormon story in part 2. Part 1 is Watson reminiscent of old stories. It's definitely different for Arthur Conan Doyle, and it is fiction - not real. I agree, it's odd.

The crime scene according to Sherkock Holmes. "If a herd of buffalo's had passed along, there could not be a greater mess!" 😂
