Reminds me of a jian, a Chinese mythological bird that is literally half of a bird: one eye and one wing. Because of its lack of another wing, it cannot fly, which represents its incompleteness and imperfection. It can only fly when it has found another mate that is the other half. Together, they lean on each other, giving both Jian the ability to fly, which represents wholeness and perfection. One of the most famous example of a pair of jian in the media is Hiro and Zero Two from the anime, Darling in The Franxx. For some reason, ever since I've heard of that bird, I was almost obsessed with it. Like, I really enjoyed the concept of having to literal lovebirds sticking together in order to fly.

I love the symbolism here. It's so beautiful. While some people can succeed on their own, others need help or aren't developed enough to achieve their goals on their own. This is good symbolism for disability, how despite our disadvantages, we are stronger together rather than alone. So we should help each other especially those who struggle more than us.
I quite like the symbolism of the boy gaining confidence. We don't often see stories that deal with a young, fragile boy becoming a man. In this case, the girl looks to be a bit older. She's stronger, tougher, and more experienced. She encourages him to push outside his comfort zone and do something scary. And then we see him being brave once again, but this time when it isn't fun & games. I find it interesting that he's supporting her, flying above her, and initially we don't see his eyes. We just see the grim concentration of his mouth set firmly in a line. In the end, they're more equal in terms of confidence and strength. He has grown up a little. Just small details that stood out to me 😊
The animation has such a beautiful meaning and is one of the best I've seen! The emotions were conveyed perfectly even without the characters talking, the animation and music is very bountiful and helps a lot in enhancing the emotions felt by not only the viewer but also the characters themselves! Beautiful, to say the least!
For me personally, in terms of emotionality and symbolic message, this animation is equivalent to the first flight of Hiccup and the Night Fury. When friendship and unity help two wounded beings fly to heaven.
ok but one being wounded the other in the end. Hiccup ruined half of toothlesses tail (the night fury) and at the end of the first movie toothless rescues hiccup but not all of him I.E hiccup loses his foot so they both kinda wounded eachother tail for foot seems fair enough in this animation they did not wound eachother nor did they begin as enemys though i see what you mean and where you are coming from it is a truly beautiful animation and the meaning had me bawling

Oh my god this style is so beautiful. I love how each character is drawn. And the emotion.. the sky reflected in the eyes.. The story truly coneys that no matter what happens, you're never alone. This is just amazing.
It’s these kinds of cartoons that I like most. No talking, only motion and the flow of music. I LOVVVEEE these kinds of portrayals because I think it speaks out and reached out more than a cartoon with speaking in it.

제 감성에 정확히 맞았네요. 날개가 한쪽이 작다는 특징이 엔딩에 이렇게 드러날 줄은 상상도 못했네요
마지막 엔딩 문구인 wings가 등장하는 장면까지 고심하지 않은 장면이 보이지 않습니다.
두 명 다 날개가 한쪽만 없어서 한명이 다른 한명을 위해 본인 날개를 희생하는 스토리일줄 알았는데 그 반대네요. 연출이 너무너무 완벽해서 마지막에 소름이 돋았습니다.

Oh my god this style is so beautiful. I love how each character is drawn. And the emotion.. the sky reflected in the eyes.. The story truly coneys that no matter what happens, you're never alone. This is just amazing.

Edit: was so captured by emotion I couldn't critique lol. All involved put so much soul into this. I was cheering for them both from the start. The Animation is fantastic 👌 but no one can deny the story and emotion that was wonderfully expressed in this. From start to finish I couldn't stop being drawn in. Wonderful simply beautiful. 와..ㅠㅠ마지막에 반쪽밖에 없는 두 날개가 합쳐져서 결국에는 완벽한 날개가 되는거 너무 좋다
아무런 대사도 목소리도 안나오는데 모든 게 다 전달되는 느낌임 프레임도 끊김없이 부드럽고... 우리나라 애니쪽 상황을 자세히 아는건 아닌데 상업적으로도 잘 팔릴 것같음... 졸작 수고하셨어요

진짜 내용도 너무 좋고요ㅜㅜㅜㅜ 연출도 너무 대박인것 같아요!!! 사과가 떨어져서 부서진 다음에 나무도 균열이 가서 부서지는데 그때 딱 안아서 같이 나는데 캐릭터 표정도 너무 잘 살아있고요 마지막에 깃털이 떨어지는것까지 완벽해요ㅠㅠ 진심 졸업작품으로 이런 작품을 내다니 너무 존경스럽습니다 작가님이 만드신 다른작품들도 너무 보고싶어요!! 아님 앞으로 만드실 작품이라거나요!! 작품의 배경화면도 너무 이쁘구요 캐릭터들도 귀엽습니다마지막쯤에 하늘에서 마주보고 날개 펼칠때 진심 너무 이뻣어요!!

대박... 어떻게 대사 하나 들리지 않는데 표정과 행동 하나만으로 모든것을 표현 할 수 있을까 그림체도 너무 내 취향이라 안 좋아할 수가 없다.. 내 기준 이렇게 짧은 애니메이션 중 진짜 맘에 든 TOP5에 든다...
오랜만에 다시봐도 진짜 너무 잘 만들었다ㅠ 프레임이랑 작화도 좋고 편안하고 아름다운 분위기가 너무 좋은 것 같습니다
