Tiffany, I have a recommendation for you! So my sister, who lives in AZ, rescued a terrier-mix puppy years back. She took him to those basic puppy training classes. After, she was told to take rattlesnake training for desert safety. Shepards are incredibly intelligent & obviously do amazing things. Bear would get this quickly. They train them to recognize the sound & either pull you back if leashed or alert you to it’s presence. It really is awesome…especially for desert living. Anyways, it popped into my mind w the Bear footage. Sending luv from Brooklyn ❤️

The clear pumpkin....I have one from the 80s. Mine was a promotional item from Dunkin Donuts. I paid $10 and it was filled with doughnut holes. I pull it out for every season/holiday. Such fun.
We picked up a few sets of genuine vintage FOO dogs last year. I had NO idea how valuable some of them are. We still have an amazing amount of Talavera from the same estate, too.

Hi Tiffany, there seems to be so many broken pieces on the shelves. In my opinion, I would think that Goodwill would not put out all those broken and chipped items because most people won’t buy them. I certainly wouldn’t buy something that is missing a piece that broke off.
I think they should put them out on a shelf that’s just free or like 25-50 cents maximum. That way people who are willing to repair will take them instead of them ending up in a landfill.

I really appreciate your videos. I work in a Habitat for Humanity thrift store and I love to know if something has value. The vintage pieces, names, I've gotten pretty good at identifying some things. Other workers come to me and ask what I think about items. A lot of times I still have to use Google lens to get an ID on something. I've always enjoyed learning about names on pieces and helping other's know the basic history/value of them.

That amber glass is gorgeous. I have a soft spot in my heart for anything Amber. For 2 reasons. When I was in college I studied for a summer in Poland and we went to the Baltic sea which is ground zero for Amber. But also because I was fascinated by my mother's little jar of Avon Topaz cream perfume which she kept on her bureau. That little chip of "topaz" on the lid fascinated me from the very first time I ever saw it.
At 9:37 right behind the boot is a light blue pot. It looks irradecent. I fell in love with the color. Not worth much, I'm sure except to me. I just love ❤️ it. Would you check on that next time for me please? Thank you much. And oh my gosh near the faux telescope I think I spotted another of the blue pots. Would love to have the pair!
And on the bottom shelf below your blue pot and the telescope is a hand crafted plate of a woman in red. I think this is made from material, felt, and rickrack. My brother and I had one each of these from childhood. I lost mine but found his a few years ago just to turn around and drop it. I would have snapped that up for sentimental reasons.

The Chinese old man represents longevity (Shou). There are usually two other figures goes with the set. They are call Fu Lu Shou God. Fu stands for prosperity and Lu stands for status. The paint is not missing on his head. It’s his grey hair. I’m afraid I don’t know much of its value. But he does looks like a very nice piece!

Always love the amber glass and honorable mention to the poor elephant missing his tusks - he’s a beauty! - but my favorite finds this week are unusual for me, I think. Love the pretty toile mug and that moose! And the Heath sugar bowl is special. Hope Chris had a great Father’s Day. And tell Miley that she’s such a pretty girl there’s no such thing as not looking camera-worthy! It looked like she had her hair pulled back or up (we just got a quick glimpse) and I remember at her age, I always thought I looked better with my hair down. It wasn’t until a few years later that I realized that wasn’t true. Perhaps the same is true for her. I’d love to see the feline plotting for the space in the box that goes on as you’re setting up the haul. Just thought I’d give you some back story on the Chinese items. The Fu dog is actually the female with her paw on the cub. The male would sit on the right with his paw on a globe or the world. Not sure on the age, but it looks as if it is trying to imitate the tri-color glaze which is worth a lot. However, it doesn’t look like the real ones I’ve seen in China. But, I am not an expert. The bank is one of the lucky gods named Shouxing. He represents longevity and usually holds a staff and the peach of immortality. Hope I helped a little. Good luck!
