We moved to Maine from Virginia about 5 years back and just fell in love with the state. I am well travelled both within and outside the US and Maine just stands out to me. The quality of life, the simplicity and the peace and tranquility, I would not want to live anywhere else. Chef Ranga, I run an Indian food truck named Banyan Tree, out of Oxbow Brewing in Newcastle, and love cooking with local ingredients. I found your Maine episode to be incredibly inspiring and uplifting 🙏🏼
Maine is glorious and wild. It’s a place where everyone who lives there knows how good it is but shelters it and protects it from the rest of the world. I am lucky to live so close and Chef Ranga, you captured it perfectly here with adding a great touch of your own!
Wow. I’ve seen one or two of your videos, but this is really great stuff. As a Mainer, thank you for highlighting our state. Six River Farm is such a great spot! I live in the mountains of western Maine these days, but grew up on the southern coast. Between the large native brookies, salmon, bass and stripers…there is such a diverse ecosystem here you really can have such different experiences wherever you go and depending on what species you target. If you ever make it back, I’d be more than happy to show you around. Thanks again. 🤙🤜
Chef Ranga, thank you for sharing your passion and skills with us and special thank you to the producers for making this happen. This is developing into a wonderful series already…… what joy is unfolding!
BRAVO! I have now watched the first two episodes and MORE please!🙏. Simply outstanding guys. Love Chef Ranga’s enthusiasm for life, food, AND fly fishing. I have to say it’s refreshing to watch one of these where the Chef can actually cast and catch fish (no offense to any unnamed chefs out there 😅). Out of superlatives except to say this is one I can watch with my wife! Well done indeed.
Glad I found this channel. The cinematography is beautiful. What a way to combine Fly fishing, travel, culture and culinary all in one episode. You have something special here sir. Keep it up.
You should come to Minnesota, hook up with Robert Hawkins from Bob Mitchell’s fly shop (maybe a musky on the fly?) and Hank Shaw for the foraging/cooking. Would love to see what you would get into with those guys…
