[4K] Walk Down one of Moscow's Oldest and most Beautiful streets - Myasnitskaya

Myasnitskaya Street runs from Lubyanskaya Square to Sadovo-Spasskaya Street, crossing the Ring Boulevard. It got its name in the XVII century - there were many butcher's shops and butcher's houses here. Before that part of the street was called Evplovka, in honour of the church of Archdeacon Evpl, and the other part was called Frolovka, in honour of the church of Saints Frol and Laurus. After the revolution the street was renamed Pervomayskaya and from 1935 it was named after Sergei Kirov. The historical name was returned to Myasnitskaya in 1990.
At the time of Peter the Great the nobility settled on Myasnitskaya, in the XIX century they were replaced by merchants and manufacturers. In the 1870s the street was paved and illuminated - Myasnitskaya Street was one of the first in Moscow to receive gas lamps.

На Мясницкой сворачивайте на Банковский и идите в Пробку, там подают отличный чаудер, или чуть дальше на Кривоколеный - там Чихо и там вкусно всё :)
