Glad you’re here my dawg appreciate your comments! Working on a part 2 of my offensive scheme to post next week😎gonna incorporate some great plays,breakdowns, and tips
The video is great (from what I can tell, still very new to the game), but what really stands out is the interaction in the comments. Being willing to answer questions that people have goes a long way with this style of video
It’s important to remember a lot of players just use hot routes or formation subs (ie Hardman at TE). At 5:30 just change a couple routes to drag and zig and it’s an easy completion.
That’s why it’s important to change the looks every play. In the formation i was in I was running a blitz and cover 4 drop (and sometimes putting hard flats down with my curl flat defenders) while also disguising the the plays using base align. So ya that would be an easy completion but it also it a lot harder to make adjustments if you don’t know if it’s a blitz or not. I also would take the short routes all day and let my defense rally to the ball and make adjustments accordingly if the opponent continues
Tyreek and waddle are so tough to stop. Sometimes if I’m playing them I just run cover 4 drop and shade over the top bc all the opponent does is try to throw deep lol
@@RedZoneRocky yeah I run spinner, then put 1 safety on a deep zone. And try to user the middle and waddle. Just gotta hope the pressure gets there before he launches it lol
You can turn on match but do not mess with zone adjustments plus you turn on base. The update came out Friday it work but it still need a patch. I like to mix man and zone on defense.

In man defense do you recommend usering the linebacker that's covering the running back and putting the free linebacker on a curl flat, deep zone or QB spy or usering the linebacker with no responsibilities?
Depends on what man defense ur talking about but if ur talkin about the cover 2 man in dollar I think it’s best to mix it up. If u want to send more pressure usering the LB that’s manned up on the RB is best bc then u have 3 d linemen rushing and then the LB is also blitzing. If u wanna make sure u have more people in coverage I would user the blitzing LB. Then the other LB will cover the RB. But like u said I think it’s smart to sometimes put the opposite RB on a curl flat or zone flat. Mixing that up is great to confuse the offense. If ur facing someone like Lamar I would mix in a QB spy from time to time as well as making sure u QB contain. Overall my recommendation is to understand the situation and what u wanna do. In a 3rd in long u may want everyone to drop back in coverage. So then u can put a LB on a curl flat and then user the other LB to lurk. Hope this helps.
I hear what you saying but it's really no point in trying to play defense this year it is not consistent you may get one stop next play first down. Most defensive schemes can be broke down by the freeform passing the defensive players will not react every time.
Sure but u might as well wanna try to optimize your defense. All it takes is one stop to win a game if u play great on offense. And u may not be able to get that one turnover if u don’t try different things on defense or learn new ways to play defense. So it’s still good to know this info.
Defense ain’t dead you just gotta get better at reads and bluffing your play calls so you can call out your opponent’s playstyle and force them to switch. Easier said than done for sure but it feels like reads and getting better at using safeties or linebackers to support your corners is key
No if u want to move them back you have to move them back either as a team or individuals. As a team u press Y or triangle and up on the left stick. For individual you press Y or Triangle, then A or X, then pick the player u want to be backed off
So in zone u mainly want to use shading underneath and over the top. Over top helps with being beat deep and underneath changes the purple zones to a light blue zone

Yoooo appreciate u dawg! For corner routes against man defense I kinda do a couple of different things. I like shading inside and then putting a curl flat in that area bc that baits the opponent into thinking that the corner is open and he’ll throw it right into the curl flat (like u saw in the video). u can also shade outside which should work as well. Just be careful if u have a low overall vs high overall in that case you’d want extra help over the top. With zone defense cloud flats work well, curl flats work well, and even hard flats work well when put the zone drops at around 20-30 yards
@lioneldaniel9388 because ea is weird😂 there’s alot of crazy adjustment glitches happening. But also sometimes it just doesn’t show that you are shading left or right but that actually play whatever you chose better even if the game doesn’t tell u. At least from what I’ve labbed up a while ago, if you shade outside and it doesn’t look like it worked, they actually play outside routes better. But with all the patches I haven’t been able to check again, working on some new vids
You can only shade one way. So if u shade to the right and then decide to shade over the top then shading over the top is what your players will do if that makes sense
I have a question for you. When I'm on defense, sometimes I flip the play and my zones get wonky. Do you know how to fix this? Do I base align, man align or default?
@robbwaller4381 no doubt. I think that’s why the zones get messed up. For some reason EA made those not work very well with zone defense so if u reset or flip the play the zones get messed up. Try only doing those coaching adjustments with man defense bc I think that’s why the downs bet screwed up
What up RZR I have a question for you? When you are scout the offensive line in defense line for example Left tackle what traits are you looking for in scouting them like awareness, blocking the run, etc I m trying to but having a lil hard time on scout the because of what are should be good at.
What’s up bro. So I haven’t been on franchise in M24 but in M23 I would always be looking for Pass blocking and awareness. I believe the rating threshold for pass blocking in M23 that I was looking for was 80-85 overall. So I would be all over offensive linemen with awareness and pass blocking with B+ or better ratings when scouting. I also look for super athletic freaks. So if I see a guy who’s 6’7 350lb. I may take a chance on him if he has mid scouting ratings bc sometimes Madden puts hidden devs on those types of guys. Hope this helps

Ya they do. But over the top and underneath work the best. Over the top is good to prevent deep balls (even tho it still lets deep balls go sometimes) and underneath makes purple zones into hard flats
It really depends. I’ve been able to stop some slant routes but if ur going against better wide receivers they will run by u. For example I was using shading against Stefon diggs and all he was doing is running slants. And no matter what I did he would run by me. So overalls definitely matter. I ended up putting a flat route there by a LB.

How do I avoid getting bombed over top in pressed coverage, like a blitz.. I'm shading over the top and still getting roasted... Is it better not to press this yr?
Yeah I’d get outta press for sure. Even when ur backed up u can still get cooked depending on ratings. U just gotta make sure the blitz can get in before he can throw it over the top if ur in a all out man blitz
@@akdavis5557 ya so u can setup ur blitz but if you are afraid of a certain play or player going deep u can shade over the top to prevent the deep ball and back the DB or all DBs off. That’s really the best u can do when u run an all out man blitz. It’s one reason why all out man blitzes be so risky. But ya best way to prevent deep balls is back off corners and shade over the top
Yeah probably. Unless the receiver tried to run the very to the outside then he would’ve been pressed on the line. And even so my pressure came in kinda fast so maybe he wouldn’t have had time. Or I woulda just been cooked😂

When you shade "underneath"it works best when you press the cbs to the receivers?? What does shading "outside"works on zone??
This helped. I got a friend that uses the dolphins. And he just burns me over top. They just out run my deep zones if pressure doesn't get there.

I tried shading slant routes on Cincinnati receivers with the bills corners they were getting beat most of the time
