  • This video elaborates on various mistakes that some zero-grazing goat farmers do and how to avoid them. watch the whole video to full benefit from it, comment and share it.
    SOME KEY NOTES
    Zero grazing is a management system in which goats are confined to a specific area and not allowed to graze freely. This practice has several important benefits:
    1. Improved Nutrition: Zero grazing allows for controlled feeding of goats, ensuring that they receive a balanced and nutritious diet. This is particularly important for lactating goats and young kids, as they have higher nutritional requirements.
    2. Disease Prevention: By confining goats to a specific area, the risk of exposure to parasites and diseases from grazing areas is reduced. This can help prevent the spread of diseases such as tick-borne diseases and gastrointestinal parasites.
    3. Increased Productivity: Zero grazing can lead to increased productivity in goats. Controlled feeding and reduced exposure to diseases can result in improved growth rates, higher milk production in dairy goats, and better reproductive performance.
    4. Environmental Protection: Grazing goats can cause damage to natural vegetation and contribute to soil erosion. Zero grazing helps protect the environment by minimizing overgrazing and allowing for better management of grazing areas.
    5. Easy Monitoring and Management: With zero grazing, goats can be easily monitored and managed, allowing for early detection of health issues or reproductive problems. This enables timely intervention and reduces the risk of losses.
    Overall, zero grazing of goats is important for ensuring optimal nutrition, disease prevention, increased productivity, environmental protection, and effective management of goats.

      @@kimdgroup thanks for your swift reply. For some time now, I have been trying to estimate how much land I would need to grow food for 300 goats for the year, as I am planning to run a no-grazing goat farm as well.
      I would appreciate your input and if you have a blog or a written material on the topic, please share with me. thanks

    • @kimdgroup
      @kimdgroup  7 місяців тому +2

      No please. Unless if you want to be harvesting for more than 3years before buying any animal

      @@kimdgroup how many acres are enough for 100 goats feed. Zero grazing. And how many kiloz does a goat eat per day

      @Uncensored-Updates 3acres are very enough. A goat needs 4kgs of forage and 2.5kg of dry matter but all depends on body weight!
