Idk what you mean by "changing the position" but those are product of adjusting to hold himself into the match, and for sure he used them to regain a sustainable position, which definitely affects the momentum and the outcome of the match. Fortunately Leonidas took it still, because otherwise that would be a huge robbery.

Don’t see it as much in supermatches but in tourney format it sucks watching an obviously stronger puller loose and not move on because of fouls only and not from getting pinned. Yeah, on left, even from today’s air grip up, Matt still seems a level above Leonidas. Matt easily beat Leonidas on left last year (not to mention beat Brad on left earlier this year). If Leonidas does somehow beat or at least perform really well against John then Matt could be a good match on right though, but I doubt Leonidas is there yet.

The rules for the tournament any elbow fouls without position gained weren’t called. That’s why some weren’t called.
