No TMNT Turtle Van as a Vehicle Holy Grail??? 😠 That is a must have for any 80s / 90s kid
omg you are right! how could I have forgotten about the Turtle Van?? as a kid I had the chance to get either the Turtle Van or the Turtle Blimp,....I made bad choices that day lol
I wasnt able get this as a kid, as I got a small room, but I always appreciate kenner that they gave us Some good childhood w/ the free ghosts the GB figures came packed w/..thats some amazing customer/fan service even to kids..
I like the fact they are the right size to fit inside. Really fun set.
I hope they get to Ecto-2. I always used that for Ray. I stayed true to the boxes. ha ha Winston, Egon & Peter on Ecto-1 and Ray on Ecto-2.

I just bought this. Going to try mod it with lights and sounds. The sound part is easy. They make very powerful 3.5 x 3.5 cm mini bluetooth speakers. I just play any audio i want through that with the phone remotely and put the speaker in the rear. For the siren lights, I am gonna buy 4x rc flashing/rotating led (blue) that uses 3-pin JR/Futaba plugs and connect them to a mini rc servo tester with a small 2s lipo via a mini BEC. Easiest and cheapest mod ever without cutting the ecto-1 or destroying any part of it.
I spose it would be a waste of a toy but you could also get a cheap Playmobile Ecto 1 that already has the lights and accurate sounds and strip that one for the parts? I did a review of that one if you wanted to check it out?
@@TheReviewSpot No way. Playmobil ecto-1 is not cheap here. Costs more than what I pay for my mod parts and not compatible with kenner figures. Mini bluetooth speaker is only $3 (m1 bt speaker) and the lights and servo tester are no more than $15. You can go cheaper if you don't want rotating led lights.. Way cheaper and don't need the bec and servo tester.
Gb fans would be amazed when this came to life again like afterlife

I was going to give the Real Ghostbusters a pass because I'm cool on the five points of articulation, but I might have to consider because I'm feelin' the Etco-1. I still want the Real Ghostbusters and the Filmation Ghostbusters in the 1:12 scale though.
Hasbro just needs to the licensing fee for use of his likeness and give an Arsenio Hall in some Ghostbusters coveralls.

Loved this as a kid. Looks like a fisher price toy now 😂. Shame they didn’t re-engineer it to more modern standards.

if you buy another Ecto-1. you can take the chair from it and put it in the back of this Ecto-1 and now you have 4 seats in an Ecto-1 for all 4 Ghostbusters

You know, you don't really have to wait for Hasbro to release Ecto-1A; you can just buy another one of these and slap the Ecto-1A repro stickers on it since they're otherwise identical.
different rack on the original Ecto, it doesn't have the advert sign mold and the 1A also has some additional parts to it
