I have been arguing this with friends n I tell dem dat shatta has just few dancehall songs de rest are all asorkpor n Jama no hate here but Dats de truth. So in de first place he being branded as a reggae/dancehall artiste is even over de bar. I have never heard any reggae song from shatta b4. Samini for instance is true reggae artists he does not even do dancehall. He does some lovers rock as well which in itself has a touch of reggae to it. As a Jamaican speaking please Ghana dont take on our music if you cant handle the.culture of dancehall. Dance hall is a highly epic, jubilant, colourful and projective music. I lift my hat to Shatta Wale for taking it to Ghana and I have no doubt that he is the king of dance hall in Ghana. In Jamaica we know no other but Shatta as king in Africa. Stone boy is doing a more dance hall fusion whilst Shatta is hard.core dance hall which is more representive of the true nature of dance hall. Also Ghana highlight it as reggae/dancehall which is so wrong. Neither stoneboy or Shatta is doing reggae. You cant mix the 2 of them. Both are only doing dancehall. The only artist in Jamaica that did both reggae and dancehall are Sizla, Capleton and Buju. Therefore Ghana should have 2 categories. Stone boy is doing fusion dancehall and Shatta is Dance hall. Rest assure that such madness could not happen in Jamaica. Shatta could have waited until he is coming down then greet and congratulate stoneboy. I notice that stoneboy took it very personal. Music is love. Bob Marley said " One good thing about music is when it hits you, you feel no pain". Shatta and Stone please don't cause pain because none of you have not won a grammy, so far way to go. Still love my Ghana people. One love from Jamaica
