Is she an all time great? Seriously?? She’s had to rebuild herself twice and still just set the record for fastest to 2000 pts and she’s a pass first guard!! She is already one of only 3 to have 2000/400/400/200 and she’s not done. She’s led 3 mediocre teams to the FF( 3/3), teams probably no one else would have been able to get there. She is already better career 3pt shooter than Fudd ( and every other guard), has the best mid range ever, is one if their the best ever finishing at the cup, is an elite defender and playmaker ( unlike other scorers like MM), and is more clutch than anyone this side of DT. She does all this while be the sole focus of opposing D’s and having every single pressure situation on her. She’s the most skilled and overall best in history. Others may have more accomplishments( titles), but that’s it. Her advanced stats (PPP, WaR, PER, etc) are all top 3 all time and her career Box +/-, the single stat GMs value most, is 2nd in NCAA history behind Stewie, and it favors bigs because of rebounding. Yet, PB will be #2 all time, #1 for guards, and far ahead of players like MM, DT, SB and CC. Final note, Geno has spoken to this many times, but there has never been a player that knows exactly how and WHEN to impact the game and has the skills to do it in almost every way possible. She senses what her teammates need to play their best and is on a very short list of players whose very presence makes everyone else more relaxed and removes pressure from them. That’s as invaluable an asset as a player can have
Paige has missed over 55 games due to injuries, she would definitely be the all time scorer by the end of this season without those injuries. And btw, she’s technically a RS-SR, so she could come back next season if she chooses to postpone her jump to the WNBA…

@@sanfordschmidt5452 I think these type games help, because it shows them what they are capable of doing. You now have 3 legit scorers who are all 100% (Paige, Azzi, Sarah), and Aubrey is finally back as well. By March, UCONN will be a very dangerous opponent if they can stay healthy!
I am not here to hurt Paige, not by long shot... but the one who has a better chance to set all the records on their ears is Sara Strong!!! She is just a Freshman!!! That is Great Idea for the future of the team!!! Sara is not Paige in the sense of Paige's out going Personality and over all Media Presence!!!

Did you see the former players that showed up and gave their love for Geno and CD? It's obviously you are not a Uconn fan or of Bueckers. Is this SC or LSU ? Nobody has all the former players come back like they do for Geno. Everybody else is a copycat of Geno.
As Dawn Staley said, Paige is probably the elitist college player to ever grace the game. The statistics and her intangibles back it up.
