Yes, those tears he had was of all his true emtions he had since everyone in the stage came down just because of his performance!!! The song he sang is actually a devotional song praising the Lord Murugan of Hindu Religion. And all of the judges were saying he did extremely good and the last singing part was him singing with the Legend K.S. Chithra Amma( Legend of Indian music industry) since he missed the opportunity in the previous rounds to sing with her as he got eliminated. Hence the last part was them singing together a song of Chithra Amma!! And the Legend Chithra Amma herself told he didn't even miss a single note anywhere and he did extremely good for his wildcard performance.
