macbeth and shakespeare in general is so confusing 😂
After your exams are done, and you are in your summer break, do sit down every day and, little by little, savor the fine language that is Macbeth the play. It is not the story, captivating though it is, but the beauty of words put together to say something profound, deep, and philosophical. You will never let go of it for the rest of your life. That the sum is greater than the parts is never truer than in Shakespeare.

@@sowmitriswamy6718I started to enjoy Shakespeare when I watched the play on UA-cam whilst reading.
Shakespeare wrote the plays to be viewed, not read.
@@ApexTheory Yes, for the audiences of his time. For today's audience, who would know what kerns and gallowglasses are, and with the awareness of modern psychology, one gets an in-depth psychological portrayal of the Thane and his wife, that audiences in his time would not have gotten.

Uh, no, if Macbeth knew Cawdor was a traitor (and defeated him) then he wouldnt be surprised later when informed of his treason
