3:00 it's interesting the way Norman is gripping the window almost like a child, no adult would ever sit like that, good wee attention to detail

The sheriff is one of my favorite characters in the film. He kinda reminds me of John Wayne. It's great how he takes Mary to task for her conspiring ways. 3:48 He should've also said to her 'And you're lucky I don't put you over my knee like you deserve!'

The Vera Miles character, Lila Loomis, is obsessed with getting Norman back in a mental institution, and she pays for her obsession with her life.

He’s, he’s a very sympathy provoking character in this movie - wanting to do right, but driven back into insanity.

Pretty Meg Tilly was likely age 22 during the filming of this movie and age 23 when it came out in the theaters. Meg is 1/2 Caucasian and 1/2 Chinese. Her original surname was Chan. But after her parents divorced, Meg and her older sister, Jennifer (also an actress) adopted their mother's maiden surname, Tilly. Meg had a few Hollywood roles, including an interesting supporting main role in the mystery drama, "Impulse", around 1984 or 86. She's out of the Hollywood industry now and was last reported living in western Canada, perhaps British Columbia.

A good movie that nonetheless destroyed the original narrative. So, Norman did not do any of the killings in Parts 1 and 2? In Part 1, the woman was too short to have committed any of the murders, as shown on camera. Then, Part 3 tried to cover for Part 2 by revealing that the woman Norman killed was his aunt (his real mother's sister) who had had an affair with his father. Too discombobulating.

I've never watched 2 and 3 but I'm glad I read your comment. So they try to make it seem as if Norman never did the killings in the original movie?????
