I come for the hunt but always end up staying for the dialogue. That bit about his traps being a quicker death than a predator kill was some Tarantino level setup. Would love to see more snare videos.
You reminded me of a conversation I had with one of my students, who claimed to be a vegan while consuming copious quantities of Gelatin rich gummies. The upshot was she thought it was just awful of me to eat God's creatures (she also said she was atheist😂) I responded, "If God didn't want me to eat His creatures, then He shouldn't have made them so delicious."
"its always dangerous for game when they taste good" had been a long long time running thought. Gave me a sense of community amongst all my brothers out there, far and wide, putting meat to fire anyway we can get away with!
I Used to do this same method at my buddy’s house when I was around 11, but we where catching mice. Would put some peanut butter under a cinder block and get quite a few doing it
I'd heard that some people are catching a type of mad cow disease from eating squirrel brains. The rest of the squirrel is OK as far as I've heard. You might check that out. I heard the hill folk of North Carolina carry bags of squirrel heads when they go visit someone, & they sit & eat brains while the visit, & some are catching mad cow.

This video could also be called "how to make a squirrel pancake".
One thing I learned as a kid. The damn squirrels will learn your behavior. You have to move around.
You gotta put together a Clovis tipped spear and hunt with it!!!!
.015 to .025 stainless safety tie wire works great
I can only imagine what you done as a kid.
My brother and I snared and trapped lots of rabbits and squirrels. Especially when we were kids.
Eatin squirrel brains 🤣
What a legend
Had doctor's tell me I needed to get a hobby told them had one all my life it's called survival.
