Great project idea Brendan! I recorded a video interview with my Mom back in 2009, asking her about her life from the beginning to present. She sadly passed in 2011, but it’s such a beautiful thing to be able to look back on. You’ll always have their voice, smile and personality preserved and archived forever.
I know right it's amazing to capture a few moments of the ones we love to remember the goodtimes
This is an example of a family tree documentary I believe we would all like to make to commemorate our own family's time in the physical realm.

I've been a subscriber to your channel for like close to 10 years. The documentary will be something your niece and nephew will be able to look back and appreciate seeing the memories. A great concept. I am sure it took a lot of time- but it will be worth it.

When I first saw this, I was like, "Who's going to care about this and watch this?" But I have to say it was so well done and brilliant of you to have all this old footage. Also your bravery to capture your reaction of the passing of your father in such a vulnerable moment. One of my earliest memories of this channel is when your father passed away and it was crazy to see you have to react to that in real time. In 2020 I lost my dad suddenly and I too got the call while at work from my mom that my dad had passed. When I got home one of the things that disturbed me the most was them taking the body away. I was too afraid to look. I really grew up in that moment whether I liked it or not but I feel you there Brendan. I’ve always enjoyed this channel and I really enjoyed the documentary. You’ve got a subscriber for life homie and maybe one day we’ll meet. Keep the videos coming.

This was so well done. Amazing job! It’s amazing. You have the footage from the plays and great footage of your dad. I thought your questions were really insightful, especially when you asked your mom how she found out that you had learning difficulties. Your niece and nephew were really going to appreciate this and so will future generations. 💕

You know man.. I know all about good times and bad times. And I think it all happens for a reason, we might not know that reason for a while.
I think... The reason your dad was a movie man, who got you into them, got you into making videos, it was always leading to this. You had to be the one to tell this story. And that's because the pure heart you have and the passion for making film.
I know your family struggled a lot. You've been through a lot. I've been watching since around 2007. You helped kick my ass into gear all those years ago. I started this in 2007. Cause that's what you do, you inspire others.
And I think you were always meant to do this. And I hope you know how much your love and passion you and your family have through thick and thin runs deep. And that's a beautiful thing.
