Story time: My great grandpa was an avid fan of Kroger brand black walnut ice cream. Like, if he didn’t have at least ONE pail of black walnut ice cream in his freezer, the whole week would be thrown off for him. The WHOLE family hated it. (I think I tried it once, and I think I tolerated the experience. I wouldn’t sacrifice my lemon ice cream for it, but it was okay!) A couple of weeks after he died, my grandma went to the store and saw that black walnut ice cream was on clearance. *My great grandpa was the only person buying Kroger brand black walnut ice cream*
My grandma wanted to quit smoking and she went to a hypnotist on a whim, pretty unsure that it would work. Hypnotist told her that she'd stop craving tobacco and transfer her addiction onto the next thing she ate. She heard about this, was like haha sure, went home from the fair and ate a banana popsicle. She's now smoke free for I think upwards of 7 years now, but for a couple of years she was absolutely hooked on banana popsicles, they had to be the big bags of double ones from harps and she ate like two a day. But it was an easier habit to kick than smoking! At least popsicle isn't legit an addictive substance
The lore behind your retail job where there are just people that buy large portion of things that are sometimes not meant to be bought in large portions is terrifying but fascinating.
The only thing I can think of with weird milk family is that maybe they were making cheese? There's no way they're drinking 5 or 6 gallons of milk in one week. But also, why would they be making so much cheese? So many questions
I mean you need milk to cook a lot of things, so between that and drinking it I'm not that surprised at 6 gallons a week between a moderately sized family.
I Honestly didn't realise getting 5 gallons of milk each week was weird. To be fair, though, the household I live in has 8 people in it and at least 2 of us have processing issues that limit what we feel comfortable eating and drinking, so milk is on the same level as water to us.
teenager walks in wearing full tactical military gear. has garfield plushie in a pouch on his back. buys pringles. leaves. i sure do love working retail.
I shower right before filming so it’s relatively chill in videos. It just kinda dries like this when I don’t go outside with wet hair. I use the OGX coconut shampoo and conditioner and then I do a lil scrunch and it dried like this :)

There's no way Brenda was a nail tech. We don't buy nail polish remover. We purchase it from a nail supply store, that you need to buy from with a license, pure acetone by the gallon. Not to mention it's cheaper than a bunch of individuals. Those are for personal use.
OOOH OH OH I FINALLY HAVE A RETAIL STORY THAT I CAN TELL! SO just a backstory i work in the warehouse of my dad's store for the summer with my siblings (i tried getting a different job but no luck) to help out since one of the guys that worked there since i was literally a child, maybe since i was a baby (i'm in college now keep in mind) quit and we already had to let go of another warehouse guy because of covid so it was gonna be only 1 person in the back that would be in charge of *everything* in the back. thankfully we've already hired another person who's working and i believe also another who just hasn't signed yet so that's good. anyway i finished doing a pickup for in the back and i'm already back to putting away stuff from UPS when the old dude comes to get his stuff and the dude was CRAZY. like he kept going on and on about "President Trump" as if biden isn't our president and how pretty trump's wife is and how he and trump's wife were going to get in a relationship together or something??? and also about how great of a president trump was. like dude was Actually Crazy and wouldn't leave for like a solid 5 minutes. 5 minutes just blabbing about Trump and his wife. i was so uncomfortable
I also know a milk family that gets 8 gallons a week for their oldest son. The little grocery store they go to asked to know when he heads off to college so that they dont over-order milk in the future
To be honest, 16:15 the other male offering help is something i would do, mainly because i find it rude to ask them for help and not help them, but i would go "here let me help you with that"
my nan’s a bit of a hoarder (understatement) and she loves cats (understatement), so once we went shopping for like food & stuff and she told me to clear the entire shelf of cat food. all 60 pouches. and it was a bit weird but yeah i did actually end up clearing the entire shelf of cat food, redirecting her to the clothing section shortly after and putting a solid twenty back. we got back to her house and i was putting her shopping away, and i found a hoard of like a hundred pouches under the sink. i’m afraid to check the pantry.
This has nothing to do with the video, but I have no one to share this with, so I will share it with y'all, but the last time my mom saw me (last Friday) I had hair up to my waist, but I I cut it off so it doesn't even reach my shoulder the minute I got to my dad's house. She said she would kick me out if I did it but oh well. We'll see when I get to her house tomorrow, also my first day of eighth grade is on wensday, so time to cry. Love your videos :)
nick, as someone with an awfully huge family, they go through a gallon a day. i don’t contribute to this monstrosity, but my brother drinks multiple mason jar full of just *milk*.
I’ve had someone buy 6 things of laundry detergent and 20 single rolls of toilet paper along with 8 things of peanuts/almonds bc they were all on sale. It’s crazy how often you check out people who are found in math problems. These kinds of people come in every few weeks.

If that "scientist" lady was an actual scientist she should've been able to buy that acetone from a bulk supplier that sells supplies specifically for scientists.
Acetone is also highly flammable. One of my friends designed a hypothetical bomb using acetone. Church camp is, ironically, most likely one of the most unholy places. Or that's just my friend group and I.
I worked in retail for a few years and ended up having my last day the other day because of upcoming college and had to work the whole time during covid and there are still so many after effects. Our trucks and deliveries are more inconsistent and just so much shit. It’s surprising how I was somehow the longest standing general cashier for not even two years and I was the most competent compared to my other coworkers. And especially recently all of the customers were so horrible and rude. I think society forgot how to interact and lost their sense of humanity. The misogyny somehow is unsurprising to me and it’s sad. There was even one old man who had gotten angry at me for telling him the policy and he told me I was too young and my older like 60 year old manager told him the same thing and he was so understanding to her.
I could be talking out of my ass, but I could’ve sworn there was a report that said customers that were nice previous the pandemic got more nice, and it’s the opposite for customers that were mean previously. So you’re absolutely right in that horrible customers got worse.
8:51 I mean speaking as a person who comes from a family that buys about 12-14 or so litres of milk every two weeks that story is actually quite believable Edit: the fresh milk part is a bit weird actually lmao
