The brand new #S5X #Headphones from ‪@olloaudio‬. How do they compare to the #S4X or even the #S4R? For me #olloaudio headphones have by far been the #bestheadphonesformixing.

If you want to amplify spatial information, I found up to 4 dB boost around 4 kHz, Q factor around 1, can really make a headphone soundstage shine. It is noticeable but it has worked for me on headphones that need it.

They were designed for stereo. The new S5X were designed with binaural mixing in mind.
That being said the S5X still work great in stereo, so if you want to have the option for the future then you could certainly go that route, but if you know you’re going to do stereo only for awhile, save the money and get the S4X.
