Dear Mr. Witt, I want to thank you for this valuable that helped me a lot in finding roots without the help of a calculator. I have a question for [11:12 [4B] 5√(64)]. As per my calculator, I am getting a more simplified answer than 40, which is [2 5√(2)]. Can you explain this part? Thank you.
I am 64 yrs old, and am trying to re-familiarize myself to try and help my grandson, and find your teaching style to be so very helpful. Thank you for doing this.
As the Staple Sisters once sang - "I'm moving on up" . There's something about hearing my brotha - that clears the cobwebs in my head. At some point - I'm going to donate to your channel. Once my child is caught up with his home studies- I'll be free to take on greater employment (currently I'm living abroad with minimal extra finances) Anything that helps me advance my child's homeschooling is appreciated beyond words .. and having assistance with a blessing of "home cooking" is priceless. Thank you sir.
Sir, this is by far the best explanation and tutorial I have seen. This is our first year homeschooling and I am struggling to help my son with his math lessons. I have had him watch other videos only to have him look at me with a continued look of confusion and fear on his face. Today, I saw relief and hope. Thank you so much for the clear and easy to understand methods. You are greatly appreciated by the this family.
I came here because I was so lost in class and I know that Mr. Whitt can explain this better than my teacher. Now I understand which ones to pull out and remain as radicands. Thank you, Mr. Whitt!
Hi. Thank you for your video. I really enjoyed your teaching style. No messing around and right to the point. I find myself at the age of 62 studying again and going back to school. I've been reviewing some ancient math skills and upgrading from my old abacus . Thanks again. New fan!
Love it! I have been watching UA-cam math videos forever and you were quick and to the point with clear explanation to each step! I have to take a Clep Math test, so I am excited by the way you teach this. Your passion and love of math oozes out! Thanks
Hi, Your style of teaching is marvelous. I saw your videos for my son studying in 8 Std in India. I show your videos to him. Thanks for sharing. God bless you.👍
I just want you as my math teacher for 9th grade, because my current one is making math hell for me. She doesn’t explain like you do, and it crazy that you went over this I’m not even 30 minutes, but she couldn’t even go over it properly in 1 freaking week! Thank you so such!
Mr. Whit is very informative when it comes to math equations! He gave a great resource that we all need in math class and that was for us to memorize our square roots up to 25! Math has been very hard for me, it's been 27 years since high school and this was the first time that I have heard this from a teacher! Thank you! I cannot stand to have to re-take this math again! Ruth Bonds
Thank you! This really helped me understand how to simplify square roots. I loved how he recapped on each problem, went at a quick pace, yet still slow enough to understand, and I love how he is doing this, period! He is a great teacher!
I'm so happy I've found you. I have been struggling hard to understand simplifying square roots when variables and exponents are involved. But this just made it so extremely easy that it clicked and I wonder how I didn't get it before. Thank you!!!
I had quite a bit of trouble understanding the process of simplifying square roots until I saw your video. I now have confidence in solving these, so, thank you Mr. Whitt.
Mr. Witt is a blessing. Wow! I totally understood everything he taught. I know this video is dated from 2013, but it was awesome. And thank you for some of your other videos as well. They have been a blessing to me. God bless you, Sir. Please continue to put out more content. You are a gifted teacher.
You are a blessing. I am not a very good math person but I am trying my best in my online Algebra class. I wish I had found you sooner because I only have 2 more Modules to increase my chances of passing this class. Thank you!!
I'm so glad I found your videos. I have horrible chemo brain. It's been math and spelling I struggle with. You are an awesome teacher especially since I can stay on focus! Thanks for the encouragement found in your lessons . ..I am a breast cancer survivor now I plan to survive math enough to pass my college entrance exam at my age of 55. 📚
Thanks for these! Im so thankful that you just get to the point and you don't do a lot of " i could be this this or this but its not any of those its actually this" I cant stand when my teachers talk in circles. I can't believe how easily I learn literally everything from you
I thank G-D for your succinct and plainness of teaching, you make math not only enjoyable but fun to learn. Putting a "red box" around my comment. Done and done lol.
Thank you Mr. Whitt for taking the time to make your educational videos. I am so greatful. I really had a difficult time with math until I watched your videos. Thank you! :)
I love the way you teach, you leave no question unanswered and your funny too!! Thank you for your time and knowledge, I'm truly grateful for you tutorials.
I watch your videos after every chapter because the way that the teacher explains it makes no sense to me. Your explanations are amazing and you are a great teacher. Thank you for taking time apart to teach us tips and ways that are easier to understand. (Had to delete my previous comment - grammar errors)! Have a blessed day.
I have a question...when we worked question 7a, I didn't understand the concept of how we simplified 27...I suppose like why we used 9 instead of finding the closest factor without going over...can you please further try to explain that concept to me? Thank you for your help.
Coefficients are treated differently than variables and their exponents. With 27, you need the largest factor of 27 that is also a perfect square. That's why we use 9. When dealing with variables, you need the largest multiple of the index. Since our index is two because of the square root, we find the largest even number within the exponent without going over.

I really wish I was sitting in a classroom with you as the professor. I would be getting an A for sure. Thank you for dumbing it down, Ha Ha! . Honestly, the way you go step by step is so helpful.
Thankyou! I finally understand! My math teacher has just said "you wont need to write it down, just use a calculator" but I was so confused as to how to solve it and how you could get the answer. This helped so much!
this was incredible...I could watch your videos all day..in fact, i am going to sit here and go through each and every one of them writing down your tips and tricks in order to further my mathematical powers...life is simpler with Mr Whitt in it!!!
