I can’t stand culture vultures, especially when they play a role in the lives of disenfranchised youth, whether that be that of a principal, teacher, probation officer, or even some inconsequential inquisitor. They’re constantly subconsciously and subliminally making conjectures alluding to negatives such as poverty, lack of education/ignorance, or one being uncultured in the sense that they don’t have knowledge of the world outside of their own way of life. Or to be blunt, “Never been off the block.”. For someone impressionable and younger than Trippie it’s just another brick in the invisible wall of systemic racism and sheetrock for the low ceiling meant to keep the poor, poor. What’s fucked up is you really gotta be woke to peep it and if your the perpetrator you don’t realize what your propagating. You don’t believe your part in this methodical and strategic suppression of ones ambition exists. If you say some shit like this, your crazy, your too serious, you need to chill. Play ur role I guess.”
