スリムなボディとヘッドレス・ネックでお馴染みのSTEINBERGER SPIRIT XT-2 STANDARD BASSに新たなラインナップが加わりました。これまではブラックとホワイトのシックなカラー・ラインナップのみでしたが、今回から4弦モデルに鮮やかなHot Rod Red、Hot Rod Yellow、Frost Blueの3色と2トーンのYin Yang Black & Whiteが仲間入り。元来スタイリッシュなデザインに定評のあるXT-2ですが、カラフルになったことでより一層モダンでファッショナブルな楽器になりました。

パッシブでこの形状でこれだけしっかりした音が出るのはすごいと思う
Excellent playing. This bassist makes playing this bass look comfortable and easy.
I've always been curious about this type of bass.
I've been playing bass for over 25 years but have never had the opportunity to try one out in person.
All the music stores including Guitar Centers don't carry this model. If I ever win the lottery, I would bravely order one online before trying it out in person.
This bassist is awsome! He plays without a strap too. Must not be as awkward as I imagine regarding balance and playing position with this body design.
The bass overall is well balanced and the fold-down leg strap (which you can see him using) makes it very comfortable in a seated position regardless of whether or not a guitar strap is used.

@@supersquirrel7546 Happy Holidays to you as well. The one thing to get if you choose to buy one is the the optional strap hook. It moves the top strap location further up the neck, allowing more comfortable access to the frets. It is not a mandatory item, but it does enhance the feel overall; so it is worth the money.
Hi Super Squirrel, this basses are great, I had one just like this one XT2 but it was the original Steinberger, was amazing but long scale. Now I only play short scales, Gibson are awesome short scales. Gibson should include a mid and short scale Spirit, just saying.

ヌケもよいが歯切れもよく、ジャンル問わず初心者にも使いやすい音。因みに黒のスタインバーガー持ってます。

ちゃんとピッキングのアタック音を拾えているし、指引きの音との違いも鮮明。
ええ！形だけで偏見持ってた(後、昔のカーボンのはとにかく高かった)ので、弾いたこと無かったけど、音が良い！今度 楽器店行ったら気にして見てみよう。

スタインバーガー系のギターベースが流行らなかったのは結局弾きにくいのよね
ベースもギターも持ってるけど、安定感無いから弾くにはこつがいります。
あとギターは出力弱いので、市販のダンカンあたりのピックアップに変えたほうがいいです。
と、書きましたが、練習用ライブ用使えるギターなのは間違いないです。
買って損はないです。

ベースもスタンディングでは弾きにくいです。出力も弱め、ピックアップ交換をおすすめします。
弦交換どうやってるのかずっと謎だったけど、そういう感じなんですねw

What about the strap? How does it work?
I found some chap had crafted his own from a Bosch router spanner so I did the same - works well. Get a decent thick strap and it's great. But i also find the fold out lap lever is super comfy too

×親指弾きとかピック弾きがやりやすい
◯2フィンガーが致命的にやりづらい
ですね…ボディトップと弦の間が狭いのに加えて、５㎜くらいしかないP.U.エスカッション以外は４弦しか親指の置き場がない。
これがなぜかロックと感じるな～
昔はダサいと思ってたけど
ストラップ付ける位置のせいでスタンディングだと弾きづらいですよね…
ローポジに手が届きづらいと言うか…
せめてボディーだけでもシナプスみたいにしてくれたらって思います。
あと親指が置きづらい…

スタインバーガーってまだあるの！？
ギブソンの傘下に入って存続してる。
でもグラファイトはあまり使ってない。このモデルは全部木製。要は形が同じのが今でも手に入るし、昔ホーナーが出していたコピーモデルがライセンスとったようなもんだと思えば良いかと。
専用弦しか使えないのか..
昔の、ある楽器店ブランドのコピーモデルは、ヘッド側のホローネジで弦を留めて、その先を切る方式だったから、普通の弦を使うようになってた。ダブルボールエンド仕様よりこっちの方が経済的だし賢いと思うけどなぁ。面倒なアダプターとかもいらないし。
