ARRI Tech Talk: TAB-1-Extension

When shooting with the TRINITY 2 or 360 EVO stabilizers, the Top Attachment Bracket TAB-1 K2.0041117 connects to the camera in front of the stabilizer’s inner ring via 15 mm rods. However, if you’re not using 15 mm rods or if a long zoom lens pushes the center of gravity too far forwards, it may not be possible to use the TAB-1 as intended. In these situations, you can mount the TAB-1 in an alternative position at the back of the stabilizer’s inner ring, where the new TAB-1 Extension connects to the camera’s top plate via a 3/8” screw.
