Agreed. One of the funniest characters ever created, shoehorned into one of the least funny "comedies" ever made. A numbing experience, thanks to the godawful script in which Glick is reduced to essentially a harried family man--complete with the wife and kids in tow--who becomes embroiled in a tiresome murder mystery at the Toronto Film Festival. A painfully disappointing movie, starring the painfully misused Jiminy Glick (Martin Short). A huge missed opportunity.
There is a Jiminy Glick movie, called 'Jiminy Glick in Lalaland.' I've seen it, and I understand that it was supposed to be a comedy, however it just made me feel tired and disappointed.
