Pier Cove Beach Rock Hunting - Fennville, Michigan

I took video while walking the shore, digging through the stones, and standing still to transport you to the shores of Lake Michigan so that you can virtually hunt at Pier Cove from the comfort of your couch! Were you on a public beach? County or state park? Lots of great lightning stones, Leland blue, fossils.

Pier Cove has parking for ten vehicles. The public beach at the bottom of the stairs has rocks, but they also extend past the public beach. As long as you stay below the high water mark, picking rocks is fair game in Michigan! This video was shot from the public area and also from below the high water line on either side of the public beach. Hope that helps!
