I won’t run them in loadouts but lately I been making a habit to pick up decoys and basically use it as a finder…throw it in a window if you get any xp that building is occupied 🤷🏻♂️

Switched over to Thermiites before semtaxs were nerfed. The velocity is amazing, it downs and and finishes based on placement. I love that if you stick someone they run back to there team they all get a little damaged. If you need to rez you can throw one in door to discourage a push. They are so versatile like smokes used offensively or defensively.

Quick fix is so much better because with temp you still have to wait to regenerate health. But you can have quick fix and find a temp vest if you really need that perk
I think having Irradiated as universal is great for non pros/streamers. It helps in the endgame when some of these perks lose their value. It also helps during the mid-game to help take alternate routes when the circle is closing to help surprise enemies or stay safe from firefights. It also helps buying back teammates, you can wait til enemies leave, go in the gas and buy back teammates and then get back into safety.
@@Drewezy I play a lot of duos on both big and small map, my partner runs tempered and ghost. While stacking we always look like a solo on uav, and with a med vest and tempered we are hyper aggro. I don't typically play resurgence solo, only big map. As for molotovs, they are so op and it's weird no one is using them. You can get "stick" collaterals, and even if a team just decides to run through it it's two plates damage. Great for stopping third party aggression, clean ups, area denial, and clearing smokes.
Cold-Blooded is crazy underrated imo. Especially in ranked resurge, it feels like half the map is using high alert. I feel much more secure generally when moving around the map with cold-b equipped
Zacs videos are always so comprehensive. I love when he does the whole in-depth explanation thing for how the mechanics of the game work compared to actual gameplay.
It's his job man, most people go out and work 8 to 10 hours a day, at least 5 days a week.. Zach does the same thing but he just plays video games for 8 to 10 hours a day like most of us wish we could. Not to mention once you get a couple of days of gameplay over to your editor they can turn that into 25 videos if not more or maybe less. If you manage your uploads you could squeeze 12 videos a day easily if you are a skilled as these call of duty UA-camrs are. Zack is definitely living the good life I wouldn't worry too much about it 🫡🇺🇸
As a solo player that plays on fill combat scout helps a lot when engaging in crazy vertical battles where your teammates aren’t responding to voice callouts

Thermites are my go to but I’ve been stacking proximity mines lately especially for squads that push together
Lowkey smart and sounds more effective than a thermite in that situation. Just bait them bc you know damn well all of them are going to chase. Unless they have flex you might be sol
Why when I equip C4 it takes forever to explode? I throw it and start repeatedly pressing the X button while it’s in the air and I press it 20 times before it explodes. It’s like it has to land and then sit there for a few seconds before I can blow it up? But I see others exploding it mid air? Is there a setting I’m missing?
Iceman Issac demonstrated that Quick Fix has a slight edge over Tempered. The key advantage is that Quick Fix triggers health regeneration as soon as you apply a single or few plates. This means you can reach 150-300 health well before the usual 8-9 seconds, much faster than the normal health regeneration rate. With Tempered, although you only need two plates to be fully armored, you still have to wait 8-9 seconds for your health to fully restore. Quick Fix, I believe is better. Especially being aggressive, I win against temepered all the time.

One time in the gulag I had a guy all the way one shot, I threw a decoy grenade, it hit him right in the forehead and killed him, he was like “ what the heck “
Did thay with a smoke once lol and there was a time on rebirth i stuck a guy with a semtex but he was one shot so the impact killed him before the explosion
Im 5,47 kd in resurgence right now and I switched over to using termites instead of my trowing knives. We don’t insta finish people anyway with knives coz we r farming the lobby and wait for their friends to redeploy. Thermites prevents enemy from getting revived as well and have a good damage range. You can’t plate up,can’t revive, if you get stuck ur dead, if you stuck a vehicle with a termite in the windshield you burn dead. By far the best lethal ingame

I used to use cold blooded. I switched to quick fix and immediately saw a bump in kills. It took a couple games to get used to people’s high alert working on me but I think it was worth the switch
I kinda miss using the godzilla thermobaric grenades, but I think they were a bit broken so they took them out Maybe in Season 5 they'll come back and be a bit more balanced.
A completely slept on piece of equipment is the shock stick I use those and thermites. Especially when I see enemies grouped together I throw that with the intention to drain their ammo and surprise them or sometimes create an area of denial my teammates know if I say I got a stick with a shock stick we all push. It makes them waste ammo doesn’t allow them to ads and it also confuses them.
Tempered might make you plate for less time… but quick fix gets you back to higher hp faster even though you’re plating 3 times… just depends what you want more.
Sticky grenades have been inconsistent with me. I have 'sticked" riot shielders 3 times the past few weeks with them and they weren't downed, one didn't even break his armor... very frustrating.
And I agree with you about throwing knives there is definitely a skill Gap there they should not have touched throwing knives at all it should have been one hit down or one hit to the head dead I can't remember what it was before until they nerfed it previously used to exclusively run throwing knives

It's crazy that I run NONE of the same perks as your. EOD/Irradiated/Quick Fix/High Alert. Irradiated is by far the most OP first tier perk for clutching end games (plenty of videos on my shorts page showing this)
Perk discussion is good stuff. In almost every case when your armor is broken and your base health is reduced significantly, quicktime gets you back in the fight faster with more health. Even if you only put in two plates and start fighting 4 seconds later, you'll have more health because you regen back to 150 base immediately. I try to pickup a tempered vest if possible. It is nice if you have the tempered perk and pick up a med vest though so I can see advantages for both vests.
I run mountaineer, strong arm for the long range thermites and accurate finishes through long distance windows after a down, cold blooded cuz I like long range sniping with my KATT and it counters high alert, so they don't get the warning that they're gonna get sniped. It also keeps me off heartbeats. Last is ghost to stay off radar. I also look for a stealth vest as my top tier because it counters the comm vest and Birdseye perk. I like being sneaky. And thermite ls fantastic, knife trajectory and speed, but one-hits riot shielders, one-hit finishers, one-hits almost all vehicles in solos, and two-hits the strongest vehicle in solos, the LTV. I consider stacking 4-6 thermites a must in late game. Deals with the vehicle asshats, deals with the riots, and I got a win this morning after I got stuck with semtex cuz I had specialist and got a combat scout ping through smoke, hit him and down he went. Tossed one more for the game.

I run cold blooded because everybody runs high alert. Especially sniping. It's annoying soon as I look at someone they take off. This fixes that. Also smoke plays and thermals don't work.
I fully understand where you’re coming from on tempered. You don’t want to put that extra plate in. You wanna forget about that 3rd plate and fight. BUT the time involved isnt even close. Let alone worth it! At 2:55 seconds with quick fix you’re fully plated and healed up (without knocking someone) it goes up quicker regardless. (And even quicker if you do down someone!!) To get that full health with Tempered you have to wait till 7:04 seconds !!!! 7.04 seconds instead of 2:05! And the time to wait to have put that extra 3rd plate in is only 0.7 seconds. So it’s just way quicker. Spend 0.7 seconds going thru that third animation to have full plates and health at 2:55 sec’s or put 2 plates in at 1.45 seconds and then wait till 7:04 seconds for your other 150hp And let’s not forget shield and health bar are both just health points. They’re the same unit of measurement. Ones not stronger than the other ! It’s all the same measurement of health… It’s an absolute no brainier. I'm aware of how it works. I've talked about it before. I personally dont like the extra time spent in the plate animation. Has nothing to do with the regen time and everything to do with the animations.

Quick fix is infinately better than Tempered. Quick Fix fully heals and plates in 2.5 secs. Tempered fully heals and plates in 7 secs. You find so many tempered vests this makes quick fix infinately better. 😎
Resolute is actually the best offensively in my opinion. When your getting shot at you gain movement speed and are able to strafe and get in their face faster.
@WhosImmortal in the vid didn't really lean into that aspect too much. Is it really a noticeable difference in audio? My buddy's tell me it's not a huge difference. Also when I get specialist I don't feel as if I hear players much Louder. Primarily a big map player only play rebirth when playing ranked
Imo the shock stick is very underrated you throw it at a enemy is great they can't run, can't plate up or do anything besides waste their ammo and forces them to use their secondary or reload and same goes for the tear gas
Hey Zac, question about the resolute perk. Does the movement speed bonus affect ADS strafe speed? And also does this perk kick in when taking any damage at all? Or only when taking damage to your actual 150 base health?

Yo I’ll be honest here I have slept on that weapon for real! I used it last night for the more event thing getting battle rifle kills … and boy was I surprised it felt like I was killing at least a bullit maybe two faster then any other gun in the game !!! I’m hooked on this weapon now !
@@6FAME6 it’s a tad slow for cqc situations but for mid range it’s great. The main thing I focus on is attachments that help with the horizontal recoil because it does have a weird recoil pattern but it’s one the best mid/long range options for rebirth
I've been doing this crazy thing if I don't have my load out yet which I carry stim and thermites for riot shield players😂... anywho I will grab decoy grenades and just throw them in directions to see if people bite on them kind of lets me know where people are completely random yes but kind of works
I just can’t give up my Stuns. Also, no way I’m giving up high alert for flex. You can make an argument for mountaineer vs sleight of hand . I personally feel the delay in reload and it kills my style .
Hey bro, for some reason after the last update; anytime I pick anything up or hit the buy station etc. or go to reload during a battle I lag half the time and then boom I die. It only skips a few times each time but it's enough to get me killed. I am still on a PS4 pro. Any ideas? Anyone else experiencing this? It is driving me crazy in resurgence.
@@WhosImmortal I adjusted my FOV down to 105 thinking having it at 120 became too much for my older system. But no change. Then I adjusted Fidelity Cas down to 60 and still no change. I'm going to keep tweaking settings to see if anything changes it.
I'm a hardline Thermite fan, it covers all the bases I need covered and, other than the knife when I'm using a high mobility run and gun class, its what I stick to

With thermites an if you have specialist an you get a hit on an enemy it will give you the ping just like if you shoot them an get a hit marker with your gun just a note for everyone.
So I deleted warzone...it keeps getting stuck on checking update or giving diver error code...for the past 3 weeks... I contacted Activision...no luck... I'm gonna re download but if that don't work....I'm officially done....
They had to change the name of Semtex. I would assume Activision was quietly sued by a company called pinelli who owns the rights to the copyright for the name Semtex. It is an actual name brand they didn't have permission to use for all these years. (This is all based on assumptions but it's the only thing that makes sense after 6 minutes of research lol)

The only thing that's going to get them to stop doing something they're doing would be a company with even more money who may or may not potentially work for the US government which has far more power than Activision will ever have. And on top of the power they also have a government contract to make explosives for the military for the last several decades. If I were that explosive manufacturer with a US government contract and found out that a video game company was using the name of my particular explosive and has made bazillions of dollars over the last 6 years I'd have to swing some dick, slap them down a notch, collect a check, and then make them change the name. Honestly if I could change a couple of perks I would I don't think ghosts needs the penalty knowing that you can find communication vest easy and Birdseye counters ghost so there's no need for that penalty to keep moving or you're on the radar I feel bad for resolute because it's kind of like the war zone one questionable perk call serpent 🐍 I think they basically did the same thing me honestly I think the flex should be like a level 3 perk because most people use it so they can actually hear footsteps LOL play go through the mines slippery but most people just use it so they can hear footsteps LOL.
i tried fast hands for a while but it's so variable on its effectiveness; i feel like it should be like 25% faster reloads for all weapons, that's easy or something like that. I've always been a fan of restock even with the laughable abundance of munitions boxes; i always like knowing a smoke or a frag is coming back to me eventually and im not crutched by a munitions box shortage or something. Unfortunately this game has become so reliant on lethal use for cheesy fights. They should really reduce the amount of munitions boxes and only allow it to restore 1 again, but that's not the topic here lol
Bro, you are missing the best tactical. Shock sticks are hands down the best. Completely disables the enemy's ability to aim at you, great for so many situations.
I will be honest the third perk you mentioned how cold-blooded isn't really all that useful and I would disagree because there are still a ton of players that use high alert. So some of them get so dependent on that that they don't expect people to search sharing them. More people are using high alert then ghost or flex once that changes then cold blooded isn't very useful
Icemanisaac has proven that quick fix out performs tempered. The time of 1.56 seconds is the same for the first plate. Then you regen 50 health. At 2.45 seconds you have 2 plates and 100 hp. 200hp. With quick fix. For tempered you have only 75hp plate and HP combined. Yes you might wanna get back into the fight quickly… but if you’re dead you’re not getting into Any fights.

Yeah if you use smokes while you use smoke you can mark the enemy so you can shoot them through the smoke it’s so useful

Even if you only put in two plates and start fighting 4 seconds later, you'll have more health because you regen back to 150 base immediately. I try to pickup a tempered vest if possible. It is nice if you have the tempered perk and pick up a med vest though so I can see advantages for both vests.
Ever since I put on PRIMED and FLEX.. gameplays been so aggressive haha.. and I think primed is soooooo underrated
I run mountaineer, strong arm for the long range thermites and accurate finishes through long distance windows after a down, cold blooded cuz I like long range sniping with my KATT and it counters high alert, so they don't get the warning that they're gonna get sniped. It also keeps me off heartbeats. Last is ghost to stay off radar. I also look for a stealth vest as my top tier because it counters the comm vest and Birdseye perk. I like being sneaky. And thermite ls fantastic, knife trajectory and speed, but one-hits riot shielders, one-hit finishers, one-hits almost all vehicles in solos, and two-hits the strongest vehicle in solos, the LTV. I consider stacking 4-6 thermites a must in late game. Deals with the vehicle asshats, deals with the riots, and I got a win this morning after I got stuck with semtex cuz I had specialist and got a combat scout ping through smoke, hit him and down he went. Tossed one more for the game.

I run cold blooded because everybody runs high alert. Especially sniping. It's annoying soon as I look at someone they take off. This fixes that. Also smoke plays and thermals don't work.
I fully understand where you’re coming from on tempered. You don’t want to put that extra plate in. You wanna forget about that 3rd plate and fight.
BUT the time involved isnt even close. Let alone worth it!
At 2:55 seconds with quick fix you’re fully plated and healed up (without knocking someone) it goes up quicker regardless. (And even quicker if you do down someone!!)
To get that full health with Tempered you have to wait till 7:04 seconds !!!! 7.04 seconds instead of 2:05!
And the time to wait to have put that extra 3rd plate in is only 0.7 seconds.
So it’s just way quicker. Spend 0.7 seconds going thru that third animation to have full plates and health at 2:55 sec’s or put 2 plates in at 1.45 seconds and then wait till 7:04 seconds for your other 150hp
And let’s not forget shield and health bar are both just health points. They’re the same unit of measurement. Ones not stronger than the other ! It’s all the same measurement of health…
It’s an absolute no brainier.

I'm aware of how it works. I've talked about it before. I personally dont like the extra time spent in the plate animation. Has nothing to do with the regen time and everything to do with the animations.

Quick fix is infinately better than Tempered.
Quick Fix fully heals and plates in 2.5 secs.
Tempered fully heals and plates in 7 secs.
You find so many tempered vests this makes quick fix infinately better. 😎

Resolute is actually the best offensively in my opinion. When your getting shot at you gain movement speed and are able to strafe and get in their face faster.
I like stun because you can tell if the guy is in the room and if you hit you can rush in
Smoke is good but I been running into alot of ppl using the SZ holotherm that can see u thru the smoke
I love thermites. I feel like it’s easier to stick someone (specifically riot shielders) than with a Semtex.
High alert is way more valuable than flex. There isn't near enough Betty's or claymores for this to be as effective as you're making it seem.
the bettys and claymores are a bonus effect. The better footstep audio is far more valuable than anything else.
@WhosImmortal in the vid didn't really lean into that aspect too much. Is it really a noticeable difference in audio? My buddy's tell me it's not a huge difference. Also when I get specialist I don't feel as if I hear players much Louder. Primarily a big map player only play rebirth when playing ranked

Imo the shock stick is very underrated you throw it at a enemy is great they can't run, can't plate up or do anything besides waste their ammo and forces them to use their secondary or reload and same goes for the tear gas
I run combat scout for that live ping since I struggle to live ping while in combat on controller. Find it’s handy in gun fights and smoke ect

Yo I’ll be honest here I have slept on that weapon for real! I used it last night for the more event thing getting battle rifle kills … and boy was I surprised it felt like I was killing at least a bullit maybe two faster then any other gun in the game !!! I’m hooked on this weapon now !
@@6FAME6 it’s a tad slow for cqc situations but for mid range it’s great. The main thing I focus on is attachments that help with the horizontal recoil because it does have a weird recoil pattern but it’s one the best mid/long range options for rebirth

I was using C4’s but I had to stop. There was always a delay when I double tapped to blow the c4. Anyone have to e same problem?
I've been doing this crazy thing if I don't have my load out yet which I carry stim and thermites for riot shield players😂... anywho I will grab decoy grenades and just throw them in directions to see if people bite on them kind of lets me know where people are completely random yes but kind of works
thermites are top 2 imo its like a mix of a knife and grenade I throw it on them once their down so its no res and keeps players back
I just can’t give up my Stuns. Also, no way I’m giving up high alert for flex. You can make an argument for mountaineer vs sleight of hand . I personally feel the delay in reload and it kills my style .
Hey bro, for some reason after the last update; anytime I pick anything up or hit the buy station etc. or go to reload during a battle I lag half the time and then boom I die. It only skips a few times each time but it's enough to get me killed. I am still on a PS4 pro. Any ideas? Anyone else experiencing this? It is driving me crazy in resurgence.

@@WhosImmortal I adjusted my FOV down to 105 thinking having it at 120 became too much for my older system. But no change. Then I adjusted Fidelity Cas down to 60 and still no change. I'm going to keep tweaking settings to see if anything changes it.
I'm a hardline Thermite fan, it covers all the bases I need covered and, other than the knife when I'm using a high mobility run and gun class, its what I stick to

@@mattwilson2278 I love just throwing them in a doorway right before someone slides in, the damage they take is usually significant and if you down them on top of the thermite it typically finishes them off too

Knives replace your gun butt as melee, it can come in handy.

Thermite is annoying Im always killing myself up close thinking Im running my throwing knife... as it was for 6 years Warzone lol
With thermites an if you have specialist an you get a hit on an enemy it will give you the ping just like if you shoot them an get a hit marker with your gun just a note for everyone.
So I deleted warzone...it keeps getting stuck on checking update or giving diver error code...for the past 3 weeks...
I contacted Activision...no luck...
I'm gonna re download but if that don't work....I'm officially done....

They had to change the name of Semtex. I would assume Activision was quietly sued by a company called pinelli who owns the rights to the copyright for the name Semtex. It is an actual name brand they didn't have permission to use for all these years. (This is all based on assumptions but it's the only thing that makes sense after 6 minutes of research lol)

The only thing that's going to get them to stop doing something they're doing would be a company with even more money who may or may not potentially work for the US government which has far more power than Activision will ever have. And on top of the power they also have a government contract to make explosives for the military for the last several decades.
If I were that explosive manufacturer with a US government contract and found out that a video game company was using the name of my particular explosive and has made bazillions of dollars over the last 6 years I'd have to swing some dick, slap them down a notch, collect a check, and then make them change the name.

Honestly if I could change a couple of perks I would I don't think ghosts needs the penalty knowing that you can find communication vest easy and Birdseye counters ghost so there's no need for that penalty to keep moving or you're on the radar I feel bad for resolute because it's kind of like the war zone one questionable perk call serpent 🐍 I think they basically did the same thing me honestly I think the flex should be like a level 3 perk because most people use it so they can actually hear footsteps LOL play go through the mines slippery but most people just use it so they can hear footsteps LOL.

i tried fast hands for a while but it's so variable on its effectiveness; i feel like it should be like 25% faster reloads for all weapons, that's easy or something like that. I've always been a fan of restock even with the laughable abundance of munitions boxes; i always like knowing a smoke or a frag is coming back to me eventually and im not crutched by a munitions box shortage or something. Unfortunately this game has become so reliant on lethal use for cheesy fights. They should really reduce the amount of munitions boxes and only allow it to restore 1 again, but that's not the topic here lol

I will be honest the third perk you mentioned how cold-blooded isn't really all that useful and I would disagree because there are still a ton of players that use high alert. So some of them get so dependent on that that they don't expect people to search sharing them. More people are using high alert then ghost or flex once that changes then cold blooded isn't very useful
Icemanisaac has proven that quick fix out performs tempered. The time of 1.56 seconds is the same for the first plate. Then you regen 50 health.
At 2.45 seconds you have 2 plates and 100 hp. 200hp. With quick fix.
For tempered you have only 75hp plate and HP combined.
Yes you might wanna get back into the fight quickly… but if you’re dead you’re not getting into Any fights.
