I always used to listen to folk metal when playing World of Warcraft. I'd literally just stay in the inns virtually drinking. Now I do it in reality but there's sadly no folk metal on the jukebox :(
hmm well if you havn't tried Folkearth's latest album (2011 I believe) you should, because its got alot of good stuff,f and its all lower register vocals.. Heathen Foray is another good one too.. and Svartsot's first album, Ravnenes Saga, has amazing low register vocs
the structure or combinations within the drums was way off, and the acoustic could use more of a rememberable riff.more feeling. u guys should check out a song called father to son by bathory and bond of blood, for inspiration because u guys could be amazing if u studied Bathory. I promise u wont regret it! Keep making music, for the people. be magicians of your trade

Yea.. Nordheim litersally means Home of the North.. so it's understandable alot of people would come up with it and think it's best for them lol :p doesn't change anything about the music though, a good name is a good name, just like good music is good music
have you tried Amon Amarth -or- Folkearth yet?.. there's plenty out there, not of all the best recording quality.. but if you like the lower register over viking metal I mean Amon Amarth is the best way to go lol

i don't see how the direction we are going in , demographically, and even more importantly , the direction our morale is going in, is a thing we should just throw our hands up about. The reason I love this music and the imagery with it is because it's in my blood ; it resonates. Our ancestors didn't fight with all they had to give us lands that we'd just give away to those that hate and blame us for everything, and then pretend it's not a big deal. Hmm its hard to say. I like the books more than the tv series, the tv series is a little weird because it jumps from view to view and gets a little bit chaotic. some of the actors arent very good either, but otherwise its pretty good and actually fun to watch .
