- Hi friends!
I know the DCP phone interview is the scariest part of the application process and when I was planning to apply I watched sooooo many videos about it. While every phone interview isn't the same, it is always helpful to hear about how other people's went and get some helpful tips...so I braved it and recorded mine to share with you!
I received my DCP acceptance on the 9th of February and completed my phone interview on the 30th of January, just to give you an idea of the timeline.

Taking bullet notes on notecards really helped for me honestly!! Just making sure I knew what points I wanted to make really helped me let the words flow
That's so exciting! I had my phone interview a couple days ago but now I'm feeling a little bit discouraged because my phone interview was only 13 minutes long and it felt... easy... idk. All the UA-cam videos I've watched have been 25+ minutes so why was mine only 13 T_T. I've been checking my dashboard every day lol
Oh don’t worry at all! Some of my friends’ were literally five minutes long and they were accepted! Some recruiters are just different and have a different ways of doing the interviews, but I promise it’s not going to reflect on you at all!
@@KristasKingdom Thank you so much for saying that! I am literally so anxious and since I graduate in August, knowing I only have a year to apply and get in is causing so much stress LOL

how many days does it take between applying and them calling you? I'm worried if I apply today or tomorrow that they'll call me during work since I work the weekends.
After you get passed the WBI step you will be able to schedule your phone interview and they will provide you with specific dates and times that you can choose :)
The web based interview! You should get an email not too long after submitting the initial application! It might take a bit of time due to how many people are applying, but you’ll get it! :)

@@KristasKingdom What if you passed the WBI but you didn't recieve an email about the phone interview?
Sometimes it does take a few weeks to a month to get an email back, but if you’re worried and want reassurance I’d recommend messaging support and they’ll get back to you on that!
