One of my breasts has taken longer than expected to finally drop and “fluff”, even though my doctor has not given me any diagnosis I got a sudden pain this morning and got nervous.
Thanks for this content❤ it’s been so helpful
How far after surgery are you?
@@AspenAfterSurgery 8 months :)
So if that same breast is firmer, less squishy (squeeze both and compare) , sits higher at top or bottom..its CC 100%. Not all CC hurts but all CC is above as I described. May want to consider a Virtual evaluation to make sure. @@RandomPerson-jd4hm
What if you have a rupture and a contractor?
Good question. If its a new cohesive gel implant and contained treat it. Dont do surgery.
If its not cohesive and over 15 yrs old implant, especially silicone, remove it , then do Aspen Treatment prevention 2 weeks after surgery. Remember replacing implants still come with a 70-90% chance of contracture even with new implants.
My breast augmentation plus tummy tuck and arm lift was 3/16/23, about 4 months ago. My dr did a wonderful job on everything else, but my right breast isn’t dropping and is noticeably harder than the left one, which looks mostly settled. I had one drain for 6 weeks, which is longer than usual - meaning I typically take longer to heal anyway. My chest is also very narrow compared to my lower body, but they measured to put in an implant that fits. I got 590 cc silicone under the muscle
It doesn’t seem to be getting worse, but refuses to drop. I’m doing downward massages on the right side only and have a breast band that I push down mostly on that side. My surgeon and his nurses have told me that it doesn’t feel like capsular contracture for certain, although told me to be patient and prescribed singulair
Wondering what your thoughts on this could be? I’m highly concerned but prepared to be patient. Just curious about my potential options. They say if it’s capsular contracture it’s best to just remove them but they aren’t positive it’s that
I see. Thanks for feedback. So if it wasnt CC then why would they prescribe Singulair( for CC) ?
NEVER remove an implant when you can treat it non surgically and when implants are out most patient regret it and can get other problems.
Best bet is call us 1st- 818-478-9208 and we can take a look and give you better options.
How soon can you tell? I got implants 3/17/23 (last week). Left has always been super super high since I woke up from anesthesia
How are they noe? Im 2 weeks post.op and only one boob has dropped🙉
Is it still high?
@@Somethingmore94 I am 3 weeks post op today and one has dropped only....
What kind of pain? In what area ??
anywhere in breast or chest
Can you get this a week after breast augmentation? I haven’t even had my stitches out yet but my right side is higher and almost looks like a shelf. Both breast are still very tender & i haven’t even started the massages yet to prevent this. Just freaking out
@@lvgrl78 it is possible, but you need to separate inflammation from contracture. Inflammation typically is swollen, but the position and firmness is mild. If it’s early contracture, it typically is much higher and when you squeeze the breast feels much firmer. I would highly suggest you do a virtual evaluation with one of our clinical experts. We can do a couple of very simple tests with you through a zoom call and answer any information if this turns into full contracture. More importantly, if it is contracture, you must act on this now not wait and will talk to you about our treatment that helps prevent it from developing. Please call 818-478-9208 and one of our clinical coordinators can walk you through it.
I’m so scared to have this 4 years after my surgery, but I got it done abroad, what can I do :(((( I’m in the uk
You have breast contracture now? Hard, High, and Tight breast?
Will I know this after one month post op?
If one or both is high and hard, yes!
Where is this place?
Coral Springs, Florida
Call 818-478-9208 for more info
Is two week to early?
No
Help! I’m 1 month post op today and the left breast is beautiful my right (dominant side) is refusing to drop and sit where the other one is it looks v asymmetrical. I do have a steel plate from a previous clavicle surgery which makes my right side always tighter muscle wise. I’m 5’3 115 with 275cc on both cohesive I mentor round smooth implants. I wear a band at night but have stopped wearing a bra and band during the day since I’ve read that helps them drop. Also I was a 32 AA before so essentially these implants are expanders so my skin is super tight. Think transexual breast augmentation is basically what it looks like. But I’m concerned that the right one isn’t dropping and is firmer than the left. My dr said to be patient up to 3 month to let it drop and wants to give me Thiocolchicoside 8mg every 8 hrs to help it drop
My surgeon is in Costa Rica so he can’t actually feel them it’s all over zoom should I find someone in LA to feel them and see? Or do I wait the till I’m 3 months?
Thanks for info. NO! waiting is the worst thing. You have to manipulate the capsule now. Do a Zoom call with us to see exactly whats going on 1st. Call 818-478-9208 for more details.
@@easeofmindmeditationandrel2851 see above. Dont wait
I got small pain when I poke it but before it happened I always slept sideways, is it because of that? This is the first time it happened when I poke it it hurts a little and I am thinking because I put too much pressure on it by sleeping sideways on the same side
Probably not how you slept. Is it harder, higher, less soft? If so .....We can do a Virtual exam to take a look. Call 818-478-9208 and we'd be happy to discuss the details. Thanks
