Very interesting, questions and trials are the answer to progressive farming and I can see the next 20 years changing a lot. Thanks Anthony good luck for harvest and all the best to your dad. Tom in Lancashire
great video this highlighting the over reliance on synthetics.. i really hope your low nitrogen input gets close to the synthethics n leaves more profit for you, cant wait to see the results from this , top effort .
In your regenerative wheat crop have you been taking tissue samples throughout the growing season to see how the crop is progressing. Have you a control strip in the extase that you are managing traditionally?
In the low nitrogen field is following oilseed rape so would there be quite a lot of residual nitrogen in the soil that crop can utilise that isn’t available to the wheat in the other field?
Yes following wheat could be accessing unutilised nitrogen, that effect is usually seen in the autumn. Not much evidence this year with very wet autumn.
Are you applying the Nitrogen with Humic acid ? It will improve efficiency by 30% Doing grassland trials here in Wales and coming to the end of a 3 year trial in Sptember .

That's a hell of a lot less N.
Hope you get the the yield you're looking for.
Get well wishes to you're father.
Hope your dads on the mend Anthony.
All the best to your dad.

Jonathan, yes I have tissue samples, yes to a check strip for stubble rake and fungicide program but not for a conventional N application

Not yet but I'd like to see & share your results
@@AntonysRegen Well worth adding at about 1 litre per hectare and the cost is minimal . See Humintec /Aphaeas agriculture/Susan Wilson
Hi there, just wondering how you are applying the foliar N? Product, machine, and weather conditions.
Cheers!
Sprayer application 30 litres per hectare in 100 litres of water
