Every retailer around me has been stocking old cases from 6 months ago I don’t understand
Its overstock they have to put it out to sell it and get another shipment for the newest case
Same here but the store that I go to for regular grocery’s hasn’t had a restock in 4 months and the only hot wheel they have is a Batmobile that’s been sitting there for months now like ughhhh
Edit: My local store FINALLY restocked today and I got my 1st treasure hunt from the restock! (Toyota Land Cruiser)
I have the same problem too. Like, everytime Walmart and Target run out of Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars, they refill the shelves with the same Hot Wheels and Matchbox fantasy cars from months ago. I have this die-casting problem.
I can't find old cases here somehow, wanted supra mk2 of hotwheels, nowhere to be found

Matchbox has a great inventory of castings that are not being used or discontinued....it is good to see them the shadow of Hot Wheels and now they have their own version of a Super Treasure...I remember when the regular Treasure Hunt equivalent was called a Sapphire Gem!
They've been doing superchase cars since last year actually by the way. With basic cars and moving parts cars too.

I like the Tractor and the Jeep Avenger. My problem is that the local stores seem to be months out of date with their stock (I live in Montreal Canada).
Excited it’s a ford GT hope I find it, but are those regular plastic tires? That’s part of what makes the chase super I thought, rubber tires and not regular wheels.
Just wheel swap that Ford Gt deserves better wheels

Some repeats from previous case, and don't know why Porsche 911 without tampo or sticker that will make different from previous release, hope matchbox give the best tampo too, and off course Ford Gt the Case need you most 😊
I like the police Ford Explorer Police Interceptor. Sadly, I probably will have to wait until late 2024 for Walmart and Target to refill the shelves with different cars. Why does Walmart and Target keep selling and selling the same Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars from months ago, if probably everyone has these cars? They need to accept failure by nobody buying the same Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars, and move on to the new car cases, so 1:64 scale car collecting can be fun again. Walmart and Target are just making 1:64 car collecting vapid and lame.
Sometimes it's cool because scalpers make it tuff for us to get it the 1st time
What are you talking about Walmart and Target needing to accept failure? They bought the product and it will stay on shelves until it is bought and new product can replace it. It happens at every single store. Same thing with literally every other toy. Their concern isn’t with collectors, it’s with the people who are buying them as toys. I thought I’d seen every complaint about stores being slow to restock but this one takes the cake. Great job and being the dumbest comment I’ve read today.

I've been collecting Matchbox and Hot Wheels for over 35 years now and Matchbox is my favorite of the two and I so wish they would make the 3rd generation Nissan Maxima SE which is model year 1989-1994.

Can someone explain the purpose of Matchbox to me? Why does Mattel need this AND Hot Wheels? Why not just focus on one brand?
Old brand with fanbase just like HW. Imo Matchbox makes generic mid cars that are generally just okay looking, even super cars like Ford GT and 911 kind of look lame. When HW does stock super cars its usually pretty hype especially in Premium. Those Mercs and BMW's are fantastic
Matchbox needs to retool that '18 Dodge Charger because the rear wheel well is way off the mark. It does not look right at all.
