The thing is with Sora is that he wouldn't have to be stuck in Japan because he's going into different worlds of Disney stories.
They should give him a golf cart decked out to look like a gummi ship, so he can just drive around and meet and greet throughout the park.
We need to add the heartless roaming around during Villain events
I do agree HOWEVER they wont bring back Sora regardless of demand since the owner needs to get the person who owns the IP the permission to use him, but i dont see it happening.

Square Enix being a holes with their IP's not even Disney can mess with them.
I 110% agree with Sox! I always loved him in the movie and as a character, and as a cat person myself, he’d be the perfect little cat to talk to!

Personally, I would’ve liked a Wall-E animatronic better to interact with for photos. Him and Eve are already on the parking lot signs for Epcot
They should make him a small robot or puppet sox on a box that looks like a robot I think that would be awesome
I always thought the characters from Big Hero Six would have been perfect for the front of Epcot. Before the changes, Communicore was a giant exhibition hall full of technology. Sort of like the scene with Hiro showing off his tech. And of course, you would have your Baymax Meet & Greet.
They used to have a Hiro and Baymax meet and greet at Hollywood Studios, but they were removed when the animation studio attraction was replaced with the Star Wars Launchbay. Baymax did meet and greet at EPCOT at the “Special Character Spot” for a while, but they closed that, too. Hopefully, both of them will be brought back at some point.

Honestly that would be amazing at any place but specifically Epcot Japan pavilion or the tech area, that’s where they fit most and that and the America area are lacking in people to meet. You could meet the whole crew! Wasabi, Honey, Gogo, and Fred AND since Fred is related to Stan Lee you could have Fred wander Avengers campus or at least make references to them.

Definitely love the idea of having Soul, Sox, and Kingdom Hearts characters meeting at Epcot. However, as sort of a fun option, I'd personally do a "Long Lost Friends Week" similar to what they did at Magic Kingdom in 2013. Maybe once a month or something. This would be a perfect opportunity to introduce a new generation to some classic characters such as Buddy, the classic robots, maybe some veggies from Kitchen Kabaret, and the Tapestry puppets.
Never happening because you would have to close the park early! Plus, non of the characters you’re talking about are not popular!

- Luca characters (Luca, Alberto, etc.) in the Italy Pavilion
- Sora from Kingdom Hearts IV and the Big Hero 6 cast in the Japan Pavilion
- Coco characters alongside the Three Caballeros in the Mexico Pavilion

I would love to see Luca and Alberto representing Italy in Epcot. Definitely agree there.
As for other parks, hear me out. I know there's already a lot of Alice in Wonderland characters, but I strongly feel we need to bring the Cheshire Cat and the March Hare over from Disneyland Paris to the Magic Kingdom in the US. The Cheshire Cat is obvious; he's probably the most popular character from Alice besides the Mad Hatter, so how hasn't that already happened? As for the March Hare, think about it. He's the Mad Hatter's buddy. They can pair up Alice with the White Rabbit and the Hatter with the Hare and have them swap places when it's time for one pair to take a break. Have Hatter and Hare be the rare alternative to Alice and the Rabbit in Florida since Hatter tends to be more rare there than in California.

Holy shit thank you for remembering people about Sora bro, my best friends dad actually WORKED on developing it and it’s so sad that it’s been used for such small things, and he can be so good as world Hopper considering the gummi ship and KH’s entire lore, plus, SORA IS SO FUCKING COOL BRO IMAGINE MEETING SORA AND HE SAYS YOU HAVE A STRONG HEART ITS SO COOL, not to mention having the special Kingdom editions of Donald and Mickey and Goofy just generally talking to you and stuff, and being able to immerse yourself in such a cool Disney world

these were all awesome ideas! The biggest face characters I miss are all the fairies from the Tinkerbell movie franchise(at least I don't think they come out anymore) But they would be so fun to bring back! Maybe just for the Flower and Garden Festival. Perhaps at the UK pavilion? or just have them appear more in Fantasyland.

After Mei's debut at the Disney Parks, the only other character I can think of that really needs to make a debut is Sam the otter waitress from Zootopia Plus, she's sweet, adorable and relatable.
And not a known character! We only want the main characters! Not this character you’re referring to!

I’m an EPCOT purist in so far as I like science stuff on one side and countries that show some actual culture stuff on the other. Outside of that I’m all for IP in the park! It makes it more fun and colorful and relatable. Plus less focused on binge drinking

Canada: The obvious choice would have to be Kenai and Koda from Brother Bear. They've been in California Adventure for the longest time. Why NOT have them in the place based on the country their movie takes place in?
United Kingdom: Now that Disney has that new mini-character technology we saw with tiny Tinker Bell, we can FINALLY have a size-accurate Basil of Baker Street meet and great!
France: Just add Esmeralda, already! Hunchback has a really big fanbase that Disney has been neglecting for the longest time, and, for obvious reasons, Esmeralda's pretty much everyone's favorite character in the movie, so I can't see why she SHOULDN'T have her own meet and greet!
Morocco: This one's tricky because, to the best of my knowledge, Disney has never made any movies or TV shows set in Morocco. But, hey! They just use the pavilion as an amalgamation of all Middle Eastern countries... Even though Morocco is in North Africa and borders the Mediterranean, so, hey! Just add Mira Royal Detective!
Japan: I know this is the obvious choice, but they need a permanent Hiro and Baymax meet and greet.
The American Adventure: Okay, so, I know this one is gonna be controversial with LOADS of horrific implications, but I think this is were we should get a Pocahontas meet and greet! Her people HAVE been in America before it was even called America, after all.
Italy: I'm gonna have to cheat with this one, considering Greek mythology and Roman mythology are two COMPLETELY different things, but, hey! If Greece doesn't want to sponsor an EPCOT pavilion of their own, we might as well put Hercules and Megara in the Italy pavilion! Jasmine isn't Moroccan, but I don't hear anyone complaining that's where you meet her!
Germany: So, pretty much every Disney movie based on German fairy tales are already well-represented elsewhere in the parks, so I was a bit stumped on this one. But then I realized something. Herbie The Love Bug is a Volkswagen beetle. And where are Volkswagen located? Germany! Hence, Herbie should have his own meet and greet in the Germany pavilion.
China: I'd say the obvious choice for a Chinese Disney character would be everyone's favorite lovable cinnamon roll of a fantasy nerd, Marcy Wu from Amphibia... Hm? What's that? Oh... So, apparently, Marcy is Taiwanese. Not Chinese. THAT may be a problem. Hm... Okay! I've got another one! American Dragon Jake Long... No, wait. That's probably never going to appeal to kids of today's generation. Heck! It barely resonated with kids of MY generation. Hm... Was Shang-Chi included in the Universal-Marvel contract? Because if not, I think Shang-Chi should get his own meet and greet.
Norway: Yeah, there's NO room for any more meet and greets in the Norway pavilion with all the Frozen stuff in it. The best idea I can come up with is just to add Frozen 2 characters.
Mexico: Miguel and Hector meet and greets. Easy as that.
Minor suggestion for Italy the pixar film luca takes place in Italy

One of my all time favorite meet and greets I've ever done was Starlord and Baby Groot at Hollywood Studios, I would LOVE for them to bring Guardians meet and greets to Epcot full time!
Although Disney cancelled it for unfair reasons, I'd want characters from _The Owl House_ in the park (Give me Luz, Amity, Eda, Lilith, Belos, etc.). I mean, all of them could essentially be performed by live human cast members, as all that would be needed is the appropriate hairstyles, clothes, pointy ear add-ons for Amity, Eda, Lilith, and Belos (even if Phillip is actually human, so his pointy ears are phony), and Phillip's proper green smear face paint underneath the Emperor Belos mask. As for Luz, the bilingual Latina is a human witch-in-training, so all that's needed from her performer aside from the hair & clothes would be her bubbly adorkable personality that fans (and her girlfriend Amity) came to love.
They’re not even known to anyone! They only know the fab 5 and all those! Not these side characters that nobody cares or knows anything about them! These characters are not even known at all! That’s 100% not going to work because of popularity!

@@victoriabell9546 this is not a rumor but something some people that don't know hope for. What they don't know is that kingdom hearts belongs to Disney, I mean how else would we have got vcast or almost the first Smartphone KH game. Most merch also only says Disney.
@@TheDarkFuryKnight No. Square Enix owns the Final Fantasy characters that are part of Kingdom Hearts. Sora is likely the only human character to be partially owned by both parties (Square Enix & Disney).

You know who else should be a meet and greet in the America pavilion? Sam Eagle! Why not? He has his own restaurant and there haven’t been that much Muppets in the Disney parks outside of Muppet Vision (not sure if they still do that Muppet show over at Liberty Square), and haven’t had a muppet meet n greet since Constatine. Think of the possibilities he could have just rambling on about America to everyone he greets 😂

EPCOT's not the only park that needs more character - all the other parks at Walt Disney World need more characters around, as it's SEVERELY lacking right now.

Something that I think would make an interesting video would be to talk about the Disney Villain Recruiters from Tokyo DisneyLand/DisneySea's Halloween celebration.
While I'm not sure how it would work with the guest rotation in a meet and greet, improving song lyrics with Joe like you can with Sandro in the Galactic Starcruiser would be really cool.
(The videos of the songs I helped write the lyrics for are on my channel. One of the coolest things about the Galactic Starcruiser is that you can really just hang out with the characters)
We, at the least, need Donald and goof meet and greets at WDW!! Kingdom hearts fans are absolute fanatics (can confirm as I am one). I'd absolutely cry ugly tears if I had the chance to meet them
Listen, if we’re discussing putting more things into EPCOT: why not put a film in the UK Pavilion like “The Muppets Present Great Moments in British Literature”. Because of The Muppet Christmas Carol and Muppet Treasure Island, people associate the Muppets with British literature anyway. The Brits LOVE the Muppets. A theater space would help with EPCOT capacity. And the Muppets seem to pop up a lot in EPCOT for social media, I think they would be available to shoot a 15-20 minute film.
Honestly, there would be one other one that I would suggest because this is pretty solid, but for the life of me I do think they should add Ernesto as a seasonal thing for the Mexico pavilion. Around October and early November they could use him as a performer to both do a small staged meet and greet and also as a point of context to Day Of The Dead like they do with Miguel in DCA.

I want something related to twisted wonderland in the parks. I think that would be cool. It doesn't have to be meet and greets but literally anything.
They should bring Muppet meet and greets back to Hollywood Studios. And I agree they should definitely have Kingdom Hearts in Japan.

Sometimes in World Discovery ICAN comes out. Idk if he does now but I saw him in July last year. He’s pretty cool. Pretty much a performer on a hoverboard in a robot costume with a microphone for a live interactive experience. Pretty awesome

SORA, KING MICKEY, GOOFY, and DONALD SHOULD BE PERMANT IN EPCOT!! Also, Merlin should be seen regularly! Merin is seen as a guide in mostly all Disney video games and HE'S THE WORLD'S MOST FAMOUS WIZARD!
Merlin used to be in Magic Kingdom so, there! He has been in the USA before! Sora needs to have permission to be used as he is owned by Square Enix!

I would say Sora would be great in Japan but having him next to a gummi ship might be better or docked near the Japan pavilion.
If he was featured in a mini parade with other other characters not featured like you mentioned, I would say play "Dancin' A catchy rhythm" from Disneyland Paris' and you've got a memorable mini parade 😂 (Seriously that song from DLP's parade history will be stuck in your head for days 🤣)

I agree with most of what you suggest Dan, but let's be honest, if Mei does get put in Epcot, she's going to be dumped in China....because people are not going to understand why there is a Chinese character in the middle of Canada despite that Mei is Chinese Canadian...
It really would be insane if they DIDN'T bring back Sora at some point. KH3 sold insanely well, and KH4 is looking to have a big part of it in a level that's looking to be based heavily on modern day Japan. All he needs is a new costume look (it's most likely looking to be a face actor looking at the decision for a more realistic art style for the level) and it would be even more marketing for KH4, which it seems Disney isn't opposed to when it comes to Kingdom Hearts games with those big numbers (having the Kingdom Hearts III demo playable at Disney Springs with its own display store was an absolute TREAT)

Going off the Kingdom Hearts idea (which I've been wanting for a while), Disney could have the Final Fantasy characters too! People want to see Cloud, Yuffie, Aerith, Sephiroth, Leon, as well as Moogles! Moogles would make amazing fur characters. Can't forget all the merch and food possibilities! Then you can have Heartless during Halloween
It won't ever happen. Disney has so many of their own characters, and Square Enix isn't going to license out theirs to Disney even if Disney did want them. The only reason we have gotten Sora on rare occasions is because Disney partially owns the rights to the character and has gotten Square Enix to agree to some events.
Moogle, maybe would work. Idk about any of the other Final Fantasy characters like Cloud and Aerith, since, unlike Sora, they are not Disney property.
EDIT: Moogle would work well for merch sales at the gift shops and kiosks.
