doddt2002 You did notice that you can only fight on M. Bison's stage on Buddy Mode right? Oh, and they took out the Bonus Rounds & added borders around the classic modes screen. (cropped)

That's fine because if have my choice will be playing it most of the time in HD mode. The artwork in that mode has totally been redrawn and improved in my opinion. Is also widescreen display too!

I’m not sure what to be upset about more, the idea that it’s $40 (which I didn’t totally pay to get it) or that as a conversion this is FINALLY the arcade quality SF2 (opinions about balance notwithstanding) that Capcom for whatever reason refused to port to a Nintendo system until almost 25-27 years after the fact.
Before this, the best Nintendo SF2 home port was SSF2 SNES, so if one were to look at it from that angle, this is pretty substantial! Yeah, there was Super Turbo Revival, but let’s be honest, it was clearly a rushed for GBA launch port and it was garbage.
I look at this way, at this point even at $40 it’s more than paid for itself at this point. How many other versions of SF2 can I just whip out anywhere and do VS with someone without with even thinking about it, whether it’s online or local? Or whip it out for a match or two and go on about my business? THIS is something I’ve wanted for years, and I finally have it.
So ultimately, no this game isn’t a waste. It’s actually one of the reasons I bought the system, and I doubt that’s I’m the only one who did that.

I see this comment every time I watch a Street Fighter 2: The final challenger video.. "I will not pay $40 I'd rather wait until it's reduced to $20' I can't justify the price of them game, but I will say this. If games like this do not do sell well, Capcom will not develop games for the Switch.
So what is the best thing to do in this situation.. bite the bullet and pony up the $40 (i'm not saying anyone should have to) or wait for a price drop and have Capcom not bother with developing games for the Switch anymore.

...theres nothing about this that makes it $40. Even with the HD mode and that silly ass Way of the Hado. I'll get it when pro controllers are regularly available and maybe a fight stick with that game as a budget price $20 or below

Victor Velazquez Go to options and then click on "style" It allows you to play with the Hd remix graphics and the classic 16 bit Snes SFII graphics. It also works with the sound effects.
