You see I call that being childish and stupid cause they are working hard so that we can be happy and the fact that someone of them don’t get enough sleep or they skip meals for us to repay them like that, you are making them feel like shit and that all their hard work was for nothing, is that really necessary like grow the fuck up!!!
It hurts how disgusting and disrespectful fandoms to do, because they don't understand the stress idols went through, they worked so hard, to keep their smiles
Idols deserve all the respect they can get and if someone has a problem with one idol they need to get the fuck Over it or keep it to themselves no fans should ever think “punishing” their idols is ever okay cause it’s not that’s something that sasaengs do and if your a saesaeng I suggest leaving the fandom before you end up dead or getting your ass kicked this is my message for “fans” who think it’s okay to mess with our fandom and idols and real fans
So, "fake fans" purchase tickets just to be incredibly disrespectful, while simultaneously wasting their own money AND taking tickets away from real fans? What the h*ll is wrong with people?
@@trieuminh8976 I still feel like it's a very childish thing to do. The people who turn off their lightsticks aren't thinking about how they're going to make the people on stage feel.

I’m from the US so I really don’t understand the kind of obsessive & possessive fandom that exists in South Korea. Here you might find individual fans who are equally obsessive & possessive but on mass, I haven’t seen the behavior exist the way it does in SK. What I really don’t understand is why fans in SK think it’s ok to “punish” their idols for things like dating or being featured with other groups of the opposite gender, supporting a brand they don’t like or generally behaving like humans instead of perfect godlike creatures. If the same behavior was exhibited in an individual relationship it would be considered emotional, and psychological abuse and be condemned by the public. So why is it ok to treat idols & entertainers that way? Being a public figure doesn’t mean you’re a possession for the public to own & use and abuse as they see fit, it means that you have a skill, talent or product you want to share with the public, it’s a job and/or a passion, that’s all.
Fish rottens from the head. The whole idea of an “idol” as a person who is perfect created by the industry is wrong from the beginning. I’m not from US or SK and artists in my country are just an artists. Just like Taylor can date anyone and even write songs about them. KPOP heads created the images of the perfect gfs/bfs and there are generations of fans that grew up only knowing that artists are some flawless human beings.
Part of it is the industries fault. They promote this kind of toxic stan behavior. The whole no dating rule comes from a place of wanting their idols to appear more “available” to their fans. Which causes a lot of the toxic fans to begin to view the idols more like property rather than entertainers. Once they have that weird possession mentality if their favorite idol is rumored to have a significant other they almost feel betrayed or cheated on. I very much dislike that these companies push that kind of narrative between artist and fan but they think being single and giving the fans the idea that they fill some type of relationship role in the idols life make the idol more marketable.
Yeah, the fandoms need to be chill For example, minecraft and Terrarria, Doom and Animal Crossing I espescially like the Doom and Animal Crossing fandoms :D

Im no kpop fan. Im the mom of a kpop fan, hence watching this stuff to understand. I do have something to say: that korean fans aint more rude than any other fans. In my teens I went to plenty of concerts and festivals. If people didnt like a band, they would not aplaud, move or anything. Just stand silently or talking to a neighbor until the band they came to see would preform. And you still see that happening at plenty of festivals. You can hear which band has the most fans in the audience, you can hear which songs are liked more.. no one is standing there to pretend to like something they dont like. If they like it you will see and hear it. So, that is not much different than this ( except for the lightsticks).
@@EternalEris If They're not reacting because of stuff they dont like then that's okay, but deliberately switching off lightsticks as a group to put idols down is nasty. Not reacting and deliberately doing something ( to make other people feel bad) are two different things.

It's a way more tame version of the cancel culture. Members of SNSD back then got involved in a lot of scandals, they made a lot of faux passes, and their fans were so toxic they assaulted other fandoms. This video is putting down what happened so much. The members consistently behaved rudely to their seniors.
...and considering that they’re not like regular musicians; they’re put through a punishing schedule and lifestyle with a very limited lifespan, you’d think that people would be more respectful. The entitlement of these fans is staggering - “You OWE us so we’ll hold the survival of your career over your head!” You know the only time rock and met bands are boycotted is when it’s people like Dahvie Vanity. We’d never dream of doing something like this to someone who’s turned out on stage to give us a good show. That’s all you can expect for your ticket money.

Some kpop fans literally are the most inhumane and arrogant fans i've ever seen. They want to control their idols as DOLLS. If their idols do not behave exactly like they want, they mercilessly start to attack their idols, and even gave them black ocean.Come on idols are not a thing that you can control. They are human too.Have some empathy.I have been army for almost 2years and most of the reasons fans are attacking to their idols are petty. For instance, idol go to club or having dating rumour etc.Oh come on why can't they do such thing when you are also doing the exact same thing. Whats so irritating me the most is that "Idols can not date" sentance. Its so stupid.Look at western artist, their fans keep supporting them even after they get married which clearly show that their fans arent support their artist just for their apperance or just for entertainment but genuinely support their music. Why cant like that too for Kpop idols? Do you become your idol fan just because of their good looking? Or because they behave exactly like you want? Learn a little more about LIFE and stop controlling your idols.
you know why they want to control them?! because of the companies! These big entertainment companies are trying to make these talented people(I mean idols; I hate to use this word by the way) like god !They are representing them as robots in human shape😑 So these fans feel they have the right to treat them as they wish! Kpop industry is glamorous and shiny BUT THE COMPANIES AND FANDOMS CAN BE THE MOST TOXIC THINGS IN THE WORLD . I hope this toxic behavior end and people actually treat these talented people because of their talents not just because of their looks!

To whom may not know yet, This video mostly contains false information regarding Lovelyz and their fandom. As a resident fan of korea and active at that period, it's certain the fandom never punished nor boycotted any of the member in the group because the fandom at that time was quite in contrary, actively confronting antis that were spreading rumors and attacking the falsely accused member. FOR MORE INFORMATION We did not turn our backs on Jisoo.Lmao replies on the pinned comment are funny, the stage in this vid happened wayback 2015 and our official light stick was released on 2017 it's understandable.😬
For anyone who said it’s lovelyz fans who creating black ocean for lovelyz, lovelyz don’t have lightstick until 2017. Don’t spread false information both about lovelyz and lovelinus.
what's more FRUSTRATING is that. The video not only carelessly addresses about Jisoo's false accusation without clarification, but Lovelyz fandom DIDN'T punish or boycott Jisoo for her NEVER occurred "mistake" because we know it was all rumors and false accusations to begin with. It was the opposite. the fandom was exhaustively fighting off anti's and disguised anti-fans at that period. To start off, the lovelyz fandom did not have any light sticks in December 6th 2015 when the Pepsi-concert happened. The First official fandom Lovelinus 1st generation was officially established in Feb, 21st, 2016 which is MONTHS AFTER the Pepsi concert. The fandom’s First official light stick 'Luvbong' was first introduced on January 5th, 2017 at the ‘First Official Concert; Lovelyz in Winterland 1’ which is about TWO YEARS APART from the Pepsi-concert incident. Furthermore, the Pepsi-concert was a PRIZE to Win concert. People either had to buy multiple loads of Pepsi cans, bottles that are bundled with scratch card coupons or buy products and services from franchises that are in relation to Pepsi event to see if they win. In my case, I specifically went to GS retailers in Korea to buy special bundled bottles tagged with scratch cards but won none. As figured, the odds of winning the concert ticket is not that high and purely luck driven. As a result, I haven’t seen that many Lovelyz fans winning the event. Never enough to fill ‘체조경기장’ a quite large stadium or to even think of “black ocean”. How can own fandom conspire a black ocean against Lovelyz when there weren't that many attended and had ZERO light sticks to begin with? Spreading as it was LOVELYZ's fandom that caused black ocean on our own artist is not only INSULTING to us but blatantly MISLEADING as we've been SUPPORTIVE of lovelyz members through out 5~6 years span because of countless attacks from ANTIs outside. Lovelyz fans at that period (and still is) supportive about Jisoo and even conducted numerous hashtag movements to clear off malicious comments and hashtags on twitter that tried to slander Jisoo. ANTIs continuously tried to spread malicious comments on (NATE, Daumcafe, instiz)and hashtags at that time in order to sway and manipulate ignorant knets opinions. What actually happened was that anti and trolls over at Twitter that tried to make a controversy out of thin air. they made hash tags such as # ㄼㄹㅈ_텐미닛_소취(which means 'make Lvlz BO happen'. This video not only imputes what the ANTIs have done to Lovelyz, but also unfairly blames it on the actual fandom that continuously protected the falsely accused member. As a result the video unintentionally spreads new rumors that the fandom was disintent with the falsely accused member. This is a huge mistake as for almost 2M people that watched this video is misinformed and formed a fabricated view towards the group and its fandom. Unlike this video portrays, Jisoo is not in the wrong to begin with, NO she didn't make "mistakes" and lovelinus, as a fandom, was, is and will be supportive of her. What this channel has done is definitive form of a mistake and should fix the misinformation put out.
If the misleading parts in the video is kept unedited it would be unintentionally fulfilling what the ANTIs were trying to accomplish in 2015. Spreading Rumors and Misinformation. They need to edit this. On the early morning to afternoon on December 6th 2015, Lovelyz fans were busy discussing and enjoying talking about the First Official Fanmeeting LOVELY DAY 1 that was held in DECEMBER 5TH 2015 (2015/12/05) which was A DAY BEFORE Pepsi concert. (TBH Pepsi concert wasn't even on priority of discussion as only few fans have won the tickets.) There are screenshots of what kind of discussion and lists of threads were there at that time period. Mostly positivity towards our memories made on that fan meeting. Then, Lovelyz fandom first came to knowledge about the supposed "black ocean" incident during the nearing end of the Pepsi concert on DECEMBER 6th 2015(2015/12/06) because people saw bunch of trolls and antis uploading malicious hashtags that pop up over at Twitter. (I have a capture of this aswell) ANTIs tried to make a controversy out of thin air and made dreadful hashtags such as # ㄼㄹㅈㅌ미닛_소취(which means 'make Lvlz _BO_happen'. i censored cause it infuriates me till this day). It is assumed that those ANTIs' purpose was to drive a wedge between Lovelyz fans and other fandoms because that would be a good chance to SABOTAGE and RUIN the upcoming COMEBACK (Lovelyz - For You) and album release which is scheduled on the VERY NEXT DAY of Pepsi concert, DECEMBER 7TH 2015 (2015/12/07). In fact, there are testimonies of people who have ACTUALLY ATTENDED the concert told that the on-site response was fine and LOVELYZ fans were mostly busy shouting CHANTS. In short, The Lovelyz Fandom is the one that felt ambushed, attacked, and confused by the ANTIs provocation or hoax. To IMPUTE what ANTIs have done to our artist and blaming that to the LOVELYZ FANDOM ALONG WITH FALSE ACCUSATIONS OF JS is really FRUSTRATING pill to swallow.

Right,,, Why does everyone always compare idols to one another, between seniors and juniors, between the first generation or so on, between this agency and that, between one fandom and another, why can't it be peaceful ... if you don't like it, it's pretty quiet but Just pay attention to them, respect them as if we want to be respected by others ... winning or not is just a small gift for them as their hard work so far ... they just want to be respected and appreciated ...please don't war" again okay,,,
He was starting facts. Yes there's no competition in music but sometimes the industry and the surrounding change it into a competition. Music is something to be enjoyed and not to be compared. Each artist puts a lot of effort in making music, all they want is to express their talent and to satisfy their audience. If people don't like certain songs then just stop listening to it, why bother to spread hate? It's allowed to give critisism but not hatred. Respect the hardwork!
My opinion: From an outsider’s perspective that knows almost nothing about k-pop, the k-pop industry seems really harsh/strict and competitive already so i think more support from fans would be definitely better and provide good motivation. The idea of perfection seems to be pushed in these groups and I can’t imagine how difficult it is to live the kind of life where there’s so much pressure on you to be the best without enough support to balance that. It’s kinda hilarious how these “stans” put an effort to put people that perform for them down it’s so weird. Like they get off to the idea of having that kind of power it’s sad -__-
As also an outsider who doesn't watch but doesn't hate kpop, I agree with you. Kpop is just one of those places that harasses the big celebrity instead of the usual little guy. Celebrities are humans, not fricking slaves to their fans. They have a life as well
Most of you outsiders got the general idea that kpop can be brutal- and yes its true, it can be absolutely toxic for k-idols. But it’s important that you understand that this is not new to all types of media and entertainment. Theres a good and bad extreme to everything and this is one extreme of kpop, just like the extreme of american media such as paparazzi culture or colorism in south asian media. Theres a problem with the entertainment industry in general and its not exclusive to kpop. I guess what I’m trying to say is don’t form your entire view of kpop based off of this negative aspect of it :)
@@enyonamdzathor2298 i agree with what you’re saying and I don’t believe viewing things that way is a fair or a productive way to see it because it’s something found in every industry as you said. Looking back at what i said i can see why you may have thought i was discrediting k-pop but my intention was to share an observation i made. I understand there is more to k-pop than the negative aspects because i’ve also seen how it has positively impacted and inspired many. You make a great point and i think it needed to be said

Yeah.
This comment 👆🏻🧠👏🏻

Korean fans can be so ruthless.. Like if you don't like it.. Just walk away. What's with putting idols down like that.

The fandom didn't even physically have any lightsticks that would cause a black ocean at the Pepsi concert (Dec 6th 2015) because the light sticks were first released in January 2017. And the Pepsi concert was a prize to win which was purely luck driven. Not many lovelyz fans even won tickets. I remember because i was actively buying scratch card coupons to win tickets at that time but won none.
How would a fandom conduct a black ocean when there are zero light sticks to begin with and not many people even got in the venue..?
What actually happened was that anti and trolls over at Twitter that tried to make a controversy out of thin air. they made hash tags such as # ㄼㄹㅈ_텐미닛_소취(which means 'make Lvlz BO happen'. The purpose was assumed to drive a wedge between lovelyz fans and other fandoms because that would sabotage the upcoming comeback and album release on the very next day of Pepsi concert which is December 7th 2015.

Not all linus will turn back just bcs of that false issue, we're not the same,if u hate Jisoo u don't have to reply here i don't need your opinion.
The purpose was assumed to drive a wedge between lovelyz fans and other fandoms because that would sabotage the upcoming comeback and album release on the very next day of Pepsi concert which is December 7th 2015.

Unlike this video portrays, Jisoo is not in the wrong to begin with,
NO she didn't make "mistakes" and lovelinus, as a fandom, was, is and will be supportive of her.
What this channel has done is definitive form of a mistake and should fix the misinformation put out.
@@jwn955 ^^^
lmao to the youtube channel who posted this video. it lacked content so it made false rumors lolllll

Garbage, misinformed clickbait content that appears in suggestion videos
If the misleading parts in the video is kept unedited it would be unintentionally fulfilling what the ANTIs were trying to accomplish in 2015. Spreading Rumors and Misinformation. They need to edit this.
On the early morning to afternoon on December 6th 2015, Lovelyz fans were busy discussing and enjoying talking about the First Official Fanmeeting LOVELY DAY 1 that was held in DECEMBER 5TH 2015 (2015/12/05) which was A DAY BEFORE Pepsi concert.
(TBH Pepsi concert wasn't even on priority of discussion as only few fans have won the tickets.)
There are screenshots of what kind of discussion and lists of threads were there at that time period.
(I have a capture of this aswell)
ANTIs tried to make a controversy out of thin air and made dreadful hashtags such as # ㄼㄹㅈㅌ미닛_소취(which means 'make Lvlz _BO_happen'. i censored cause it infuriates me till this day).

Most of you outsiders got the general idea that kpop can be brutal- and yes its true, it can be absolutely toxic for k-idols.
