I’m a minimalist...front pocket type of guy. BUT...that has me drooling😂
The way these wear in and patina is amazing. Definitely not a minimalist's wallet, however!

I have three of these if you have a bad back this is the wallet to get they dissapeare in your pocket dont notice it till you need it.

It would be nice to have two slots for paper money in the back. That small change could make this a great travel wallet.
We can and have added bill slot dividers on made to order versions
If the fold was reversed it could pass as a passport wallet.
how does the bee’s wax affect the shell cordovan? won’t it get ruined somehow? my apologies in advance if my question seems strange, many thanks...
It fills in the fibers on the edge nicely. Beeswax is great because it melts with heat so you get some penetration through the leather. It also will just get better over time.
But will it fit in a front pocket? I absolutely hate carrying anything in my back pocket, and have always used my front pocket. I don’t wear skinny jeans so I’m interested in seeing if it can be accomplished
Hey, Matt. Great question. I do NOT recommend the Fat Herbie for a front pocket. Having said that, my dad uses his Herbie in the front pocket and absolutely loves it. To give you a sense of size: The Fat Herbie is about the size of a passport or field notes.
It does fit in the front of my size 34 jeans with no issue at all.
