Fortunately, she doesn't have a lactation issue and her babies do not starve.
Supply and demand does not always apply to nursing. While I could've produced enough milk to feed 4 babies, when my daughter gave birth, her infant had to be bottle fed. Even with pumping, she could never produce more than a few drops at a time. Remember, there are exceptions to every rule.

If Gypse is drinking her own milk for whatever reasons, there would be less FIL in her system...thus more milk would be produced. Same goes for Tina. As for Gypse, we have seen her breastfeed her babies year after year with no issues. The issue is that she lets other monkeys babysit her babies often. This limits her babies to feed as often as other babies. This would increase the FIL in her system causing a decrease in milk supply. She also weens her babies early. It is true AM mentions that she needs food to ensure continued milk supply. We all know this. I myself never saw Gypse as starving. She has never been an emaciated monkey. So, IMO Gypse is a healthy, fertile female. She has given birth every year to healthy babies. She has not miscarried any babies that we know of since 2015. If she was starving miscarriages are likely, so is infertility. Now I think Martha was not able to produce enough milk. This was probably because of lack of food and she limited Bobette nursing time. This increased the FIL, thus decreased her milk supply. Why did she not allow Bobette to breastfeed. Maybe because she was small and sickly. Monkeys are known to kill or abandon sickly babies. While for the most part, basically because the lower primates most often instinctively repeat what they saw growing up, the literature holds true enough that we can be guided by it. The big problem is that the primates we study never read the literature we write about them and so do not always do or act or socially function as we say they do. Since, often when there is a reversal or slipping or elevation in the ranks a troop accepts it, one has to assume that it's not that great a problem and the majority have seen it happen before.
Monkey, Inc filmed Tina & Tiy right before the feeders told her that Tiy passed away. It was clear in that last video of them that Tiy was wasting away, she was getting smaller (she was born pretty big) & was suckling often. Tina just didn’t produce enough milk or it wasn’t nutritional. That was such a cute baby. Tina suffered so much giving birth, she was haggard that day. RIP little baby Tiy.

In a dream world I would retire to HK to live out my dream of being a feeder. To get to know everyone of our favorite fluffy cousins would be just plain amazing eh!!
dang it fozzi!!, Bo will not give that baby back, fozzi will have to take him back or the baby will pass. at this point i believe Bo does it out of jealousy, if she can't have one, they can't either. she knows she can't feed the baby, she also knows it will not make it without food. fozzi has no choice but to fight for her baby back. i really believe Bo is spiteful, sorry thats just what i believe. she lingers around patiently till she can snatch the baby and never gives the baby back. thats a calculated thought process and so is keeping it. its down right mean.
I think Po's desire to have a baby is so strong that she can't let the baby go. Maybe she knows the Mums will be more wary around her if she takes the baby once and allows it to go back. Very sad situation.
Yep, my thoughts exactly. She is ruthless when it comes to food. No matter how. And did that same behavior trickle down to her daughter Teeny... There were times when Teeny was searching for food with the rest of the troop and Tina sat back waiting for Teeny to fill her pouches then she raided. She could have also searched for food with Teeny but did not. She takes the easiest route causing Teeny to stay on deaths door for a long time.
No, I think that' s nonsense. And I am sure she is foraging. She just suffers of this imbalances of metabolism or whatever the cause is for her milk drying up.
@@Judith-rx7zr I agree. Tina skip last year, maybe that's one factor and though she maybe getting some goodies they may not be that nutritious to help her produce more milk.
I honestly think some of the monkeys are natural bullies, much like some humans, and will break rank with impunity. In this case, the alpha has become elderly and weak and there's little to no chance she will interfere to put Po in her place. Poor Fözzi has been cowed by her strong, more aggressive older sister.
Flozzi seems to be trying hard to get her baby back. It would be good if her and Fozzi could gang up on Po and get the baby back. Poor Tiy 😞Good to see Teeny.
Fozzi outranks Bo so I think she could force the issue but Bo can be mean and baby could get hurt. Such a no win situation. I’m so surprised that Fozzi let Bo get close to her, she was doing so good in the beginning.
@arroz I have plenty of kleenex I'm willing to send a box to you. As much as we grow fond of these little ones you send hours following and recording them to share with us . My love and condolences to you @arroz
I feel so bad for Tina, she has such a hard life. Yes she has issues and definitely has her quirks but still she tries. She is so timid and terrified all the time. She has to scrounge for whatever scraps she can find and yes I know she takes the food from her offspring which is hard to watch. Her food intake is so sparse that her milk is nowhere as nutrious as it should be for her little ones but she still tries to feed them anyway. She tries to make up for it by being a sweet and loving mama. She will protect them if it is needed, even though I'm sure she's terrified. I love all her offspring, they are sweet loving monkeys and such survivors. I'm so sorry she lost her sweet little girl. Rest in sweet peace little angel. You continue to push on through Tina, you are a survivor. ❤❤❤❤
Annie's girls' names usually start with an A. Examples are Alma, and Ada. Her boys start with a J. It would be nice if AM kept with the same pattern. All Dora's babies' names start with a F except Ellie. This caused many problems like people calling her Estel's baby. I do love the name Fanny.... Maybe Fay's new baby girl could be called Fanny :) The name Demi has been taken. She was born in 2018 and is the daughter to the late Donna. Demi didn't conceive this year, so should next year. She was a cute rambunctious baby and now a caring sister to Danni, Naomi and Jodi.
@@mjkay8660 Well, we don't know why Elaine, Abbie's daughter (matriarch of Skull Heads troop) abandoned her newborn. She does have a daughter, Bonnie born in 2020. Poor little Charlotte was not sickly, so why and what happened is a mystery. Macaques on monkey hill usually don't give birth on the road, so this was very rare to see. Maybe Elaine was scared off, had an unusually hard birth, or afraid she would be left behind? Who knows. Nevertheless, it was a very sad situation. As for AM not filming Elaine, I think it is because he films moms with their new babies. Elaine didn't conceive this year. As a matter of fact, many of the aristocrats didn't. Maybe because Skull Head was too sick to mate with all his wives? Furthermore, AM rarely films the monkeys from Skull Heads troop. If he does, he films Martha and Tina primarily. He has filmed these two females for years. In addition, this season we haven't seen Bossy, Lizzy, Milly, Nataly, and Kneely much, if at all. These females didn't conceive this year. We have seen Sally but that is because she is seen with her daughter Spanky and wiggly little Spritely. For the same reason we have seen Stacy. She is often with her daughter Spotty who has little Joy and her sister Tracy who has little Trinny. There is a pattern to his mayham....:) Three troops, so many babies, so little time. AM films Bossy's, Lowina's and Annie's troops. Monkeys Inc. films Skull Head and Nullah's troops JW films Parking lot (Car park?), Danes, and Ameia's troops Of course, all of these guys sometimes film other troops, but they focus mainly on the above listed troops. Monkeys Inc. has filmed Elaine here and there. She seems to film the aristocrats every episode. Especially sweet little Belle.

Those two little siblings will always be 2 of my favorites they are so precious and kind of miracle babies... We haven't seen much of Tiny lately has he been ousted from the troop?
Yes Tiny was outed this year (2022). He is hanging on the outskirts of Skull Heads troop with another male called Simba. Tiny is not in a bachelor troop yet. The feeders are looking out for him and making sure he gets some food.
Maximum between 3 to 4 days.1 week is really rare, let alone 2, but I presume it can happen once in a blue moon. I only see them on my hike to Monkey Hill once or twice a week, and I don't get to see everyone each time, sometimes I don't even get to see our gang at all. This is only a hobby to me, and I am not a VO in Cambodia or other southeast Asian countries where they film daily from dawn till dusk to make money, most of the time I don't know what happens to them between my visits. My videos are only snapshots of their life between 60 to 90 minutes on a weekly basis, and they just reflect what I see as I hike up Monkey Hill each time.
Oh my gosh. It as a lovely video. I wondered where you were. I’ll keep you in my prayers as always, our daughter in the UK got induced today because her baby is very late. A prayer for her, the baby her husband and their toddler would be appreciated. Thank you. Please keep us up on how you are doing…Covid the scourge of our time. 🙏🏻🫶🏻
Tina wo her baby is obvious. One of her only positives is that nobody babysits for her. She never asks and very seldom a low born may ask but she doesn't let go. That leads into when the baby finally learns to go around and collect food. She always takes it forcefully. She isn't going to let go of her baby bc she pimps it out for food. Food she could have collected herself. If she doesn't the Trina does. I dislike Tina or Trina for this but Trina was prob trained by Tina to do this. They should both be spayed sooner the better but I've not seen in several yrs of watching Trina never has a baby. I think they maybe caught her and spayed her nit Tina is distrustful and skittish of everything. She would never go in a cage esp if there were others in there. It would have to be a single operation. Her babies are always tiny and malnourished bc shebdoesnr produce enough milk for them to grow or even keep alive in some of them. Teeny and tiny are the evidence and new videos teensy is now starting to try to eat food. I come here to watch her story more than any other. Its wonderful when that time comes she doesn't get their food anymore. They have finally grown strong and fast enough to escape her and Trina. We know little about Trina but I'm sure she learned this horrid behavior from her mother. Tiny now is suspected of doing it but now he's in a bachelor group so no chance now. Maybe Tina was done this way and learned it from her mother but even with the monkeys this behavior isn't normal nor nice. Possibly why she is living on the edge of a Troup instead of a normal place in one
What could any person do to help anyway? It's a nice idea, but there's nothing anyone could do to get a baby back to it's rightful mom. Look at Rose and Libby. The proof is right there.
I suppose the difference is that the baby here was kidnapped by an aunt who had gone insane and murderous as a result of sterilization whereas the case you referred to was just a simple swap with no real dangers to the babies involved, any harm was made by the VO's script subsequently to make a soap opera ( and a donation scam ) out of it, and cheered on by people who wanted drama at the expense of those monkeys involved.
When it’s plentiful there why don’t the feeders not come. That would make since. They would rather sit there and cry instead of eat what nature made for them.
The monkeys do forage all the time. They know when the feeders arrive and go to the road then for additional food. There is not enough natural food to support the Rhesus macaque population in Hong Kong.
I'm not sure. We only see a glimpse into their lives. AM doesn't usually film Skull Heads troop and Monkeys Inc never really filmed much of Tina and Tiy. Honestly, I can't remember if we saw her carry Tibbin around after he died. One must remember that macaques do not have the ability to critically think like us humans. They don't understand that the baby has died, thus they carry it around waiting for it to wake up. I would assume Tina did carry Tiy around for a while. She was already holding her when she was weak. Death is a difficult concept, even for us humans to comprehend.
@@pitbull1026 Well he has shown Lancy with Lanly and Lacy, Scotty's miscarriage, and Bo with Floffi's babies. Not sure if there are more. Monkeys Inc filmed some of the babies that died due to the rains and another that looked like a premature little one. Deaths is part of life. The filming in my opinion is done as documentation of troop life. Omitting this is telling only part of the story. Animal documentaries also film such behavior.
The name Demi has been taken. She was born in 2018 and is the daughter to the late Donna. Demi didn't conceive this year so should next year. She was a cute rambunctious baby and now a caring sister.

It should be Bo, my bad , somehow I misread it as Po in one of JW's videos and it has got stuck since. She will be named properly as Bo in my later videos.
AM, very sorry to hear about Tiy's demise. Blame it on Tina's negligence! She couldn't provide adequate milk for her growing daughter. One wonders why mothers such as her even have babies. . ? 😯🙀
If Tina's milk is not nutritious enough, or she doesn't produce enough, it's not really negligence on her part. She can't help that. Out side of her habit of stealing food from her youngsters pouches she really is a very good mother.
Tina didn't do anything. She has always had lactation issues. IMO her diet is so sparse that she literally cannot produce enough nutrient rich milk to properly nourish her offspring. Please do a little research before you rain cussies down on poor Tina's head.
@barbarageorge7848 If you are aware of Tina's issues then you know that there isn't àlot Tina can do when her infants aren't getting nutrients from her milk. Even sharing what little food she can scrounge wouldn't do any good , they wouldn't be able to eat it. Tina always allows her offspring to nurse constantly to no avail. Tiny and Teeny at least had the intelligence to forage as soon as they were mobile. So what is she doing so wrong that she deserves to be cursed on?
I don't believe Tina is drinking her milk. I think it is a lactating problem. Possibly an immune issue induced by stress per another viewer who had a primatoligist review Tina behavior. It's easy to come to the conclusion that Tina or Gypse are stealing their milk because we have seen them briefly suckle on their nipples. Honestly, no episodes have ever shown either of them truly breastfeeding. So, even though I hate watching Tina and Gypsy's aberrant behaviors and wish they would go into menopause, I do think it is a biological issue. Rhesus macaques do not nurse off themselves. It costs a lot of energy to produce milk. Abandoning or killing the baby would be more energy efficient. This is what is usually done if the mother is starving, or the baby is sickly. There was on old monkey, in I think the Car Park troop, that would take in abandoned babies. So, baby monkeys being abandoned has been documented on monkey hill.
Bo (Po) is from Lowina's troop. She is one of Lowina's, the matriarch, older daughter. Tina, mother of Tiy is from Skull Heads troop. Skull heads troop is a mega troop. Lowina's troop gets out of their way to avoid fights. Stealing a baby would probably cause the troops to fight. A troop would also attack a person if they took or even tried to touch a baby. All primates are very protective of their offspring. So, no Bo did not take Tiy. Tiy died of starvation. Tina was unable to produce enough nutrient rich milk to sustain Tiy's life. Tiy disappeared in the first week of June, I think.
@@pitbull1026 I've seen other Mums suck their nipples. I think it must help clear blocked ducts or something? Unless Tina was excessively sucking her milk, like you said.

In a dream world I would retire to HK to live out my dream of being a feeder. To get to know everyone of our favorite fluffy cousins would be just plain amazing eh!!
@Nonna's Nursery morning my dearest Nonna. How are you feeling? Sending love and hugs to you sweetie
I like this man’s voice. It is pleasant sounding.
dang it fozzi!!, Bo will not give that baby back, fozzi will have to take him back or the baby will pass. at this point i believe Bo does it out of jealousy, if she can't have one, they can't either. she knows she can't feed the baby, she also knows it will not make it without food. fozzi has no choice but to fight for her baby back. i really believe Bo is spiteful, sorry thats just what i believe. she lingers around patiently till she can snatch the baby and never gives the baby back. thats a calculated thought process and so is keeping it. its down right mean.
I think Po's desire to have a baby is so strong that she can't let the baby go. Maybe she knows the Mums will be more wary around her if she takes the baby once and allows it to go back. Very sad situation.
well, po knows its wrong cuz she always runs away & climbs high, keeps away from others.
I have a terrible feeling that Tina will drink her own milk leaving precious little for her babies…just like she steals from their pouches.
She takes the easiest route causing Teeny to stay on deaths door for a long time.
i have never seen tina forage, not even in the tree fruit season
@@pitbull1026 she never forages.
Ty passed away not long after you saw her last.😪
Soooo sad, poor baby starved 😢Tina needs to be fixed, Nora too.
If anyone should be sterilized it's time. Obviously the quality of her milk isnt good.
I honestly think some of the monkeys are natural bullies, much like some humans, and will break rank with impunity. In this case, the alpha has become elderly and weak and there's little to no chance she will interfere to put Po in her place. Poor Fözzi has been cowed by her strong, more aggressive older sister.
These feeders are so good... On the clock like a job...it's the love they have for these troops🍊🍌🍇🍒🍒🌽👍🆗☺✌🙊🙊🙊
Tiy died as she was a big baby and needed more nourishment. She was getting smaller, and faded away.
🙏💕🙏
If Reddy had been her mom even with 1 teat she'd be alive and well.
Once Po has taken someone’s baby has that baby ever been seen back with the mom? As far as I know once Po has the baby she keeps it until if’s dead.
No. The baby ends up dying.
Hi @trish. So fozzis baby is the one monkeynapped?
@@ickiedeer-lamb7282 yep
She looked at you as if asking for help!! Poor baby and momma!!
I heard of Ty's death about 2 weeks ago from JW or monkey Inc. Sad. It was from malnutrition/starvation.
This is news to me. My condolences to @am and tina
Sending hugs, kleenix and love AM.
annies troop has some cuties this season, everyone of them are cute as heck and they all look a like....lol
Annie’s baby Fanny. And Demi for Dama’s baby. OMG Dale and Wally are adorable.❤ So sad for Tiy. Hope he is not gone forever.😢😢😢
Maybe Fay's new baby girl could be called Fanny :)
The name Demi has been taken. She was born in 2018 and is the daughter to the late Donna. Demi didn't conceive this year, so should next year. She was a cute rambunctious baby and now a caring sister to Danni, Naomi and Jodi.
@@sonyabilledo4303 notice how he doesnt show elaine anymore? after she abandoned that darling baby.
Monkeys Inc. films Skull Head and Nullah's troops
JW films Parking lot (Car park?), Danes, and Ameia's troops
Of course, all of these guys sometimes film other troops, but they focus mainly on the above listed troops.
Monkeys Inc. has filmed Elaine here and there. She seems to film the aristocrats every episode. Especially sweet little Belle.
I wish the mother's would stand up to Bo even if they have to scratch her eyes out. She needs to learn a lesson even if it is the hard way...Della
It was a question of time that Bo would stretch her hands after the baby.... I really hope that Fözzi wins the game, soon!!

Poor po....she just wants to love all babies!! 😞
Poor po that selfish serial baby killer , we don’t know how many died pre am.
@@thuandao4243 Lol....my thoughts exactly. Not sure if Bo realizes she is a serial baby killer though. I think there are three babies she has been documented killing via starvation. One in 2017, and Floffi's 2021 and 2022 babies. I believe Nova, Nona's daughter of 2020 was hit by a car but maybe it was Po?
Yes, but she's killed at least two babies. And by the looks.odnit she will this baby too, so no more sympathy from me. Also, I think it's pure jealousy. Monkeys with loving temperaments grow to be loving unties, but not Bo/Po. 😒

Why doesn’t the matriarch (Lowena) get involved with these things. She has a vested interest to get new babies, specifically females, into her troop.
Exactly!
No one cares …..so more future babies at risk, unless moms fight for them. God knows how many po the serial killer already kidnapped and starved to death.
I think she is partial to Po
@@sunnysweat3476 unfortunate for the fertile moms in her troop. Thanks for replying.
Lowina is old. So is Leo, the alpha male. I thought that Fozzi might retain her baby because of her ranking and because she hung around Lowina and Leo. I guess not. Bo (Po), her older sister, is just a big aggressive female. Looks like no one will take her on but Pepper. I hope AM is not foreshadowing by not naming Fozzi's baby. UGH
I hate to say it but I think Tina, Nora and Gypsy would be better off getting caught and branded...It's so hard watching their poor sweet little babies getting so abused and starved and abandoned 😢 😔 💔 😞 😪
It would be easier on all of us to not get so attached to them and then feel horrible when something happens to them. Tina and Trina used to piss me off so bad when they would raid Tiny and Teeny's little pouches.
The feeders are looking out for him and making sure he gets some food.
u r right
I agree Tina and nora should be sterilized. The torture their precious babies to death.😭😭😭😭
So sad to loose baby ty
What’s happened to Flozzi’s baby after the kidnapping? Was he rescued?
Since Ty is presumed dead,I would have expected Tina to be carrying his body around for at least two weeks or so?
Arroz - can you explain? Please?
Love 💕
Hi gang. Sorry to have missed @am last night. I'm fighting covid-19 and fell asleep for a few hours. Better late than never.
Oh no. Feel better hun. My daughter and granddaughter has had it 2x. She's a RN IN EMERGENCY ROOM. Like I was. :)
How does AM help get babies back from kidnappers!?
Is there anyway somebody can get the baby back?
Love you all my Monkey Hill family xxx
What could any person do to help anyway? It's a nice idea, but there's nothing anyone could do to get a baby back to it's rightful mom. Look at Rose and Libby. The proof is right there.
I suppose the difference is that the baby here was kidnapped by an aunt who had gone insane and murderous as a result of sterilization whereas the case you referred to was just a simple swap with no real dangers to the babies involved, any harm was made by the VO's script subsequently to make a soap opera ( and a donation scam ) out of it, and cheered on by people who wanted drama at the expense of those monkeys involved.
who was the baby boy that shared food with his mom? that was rare.
Awww precious darling.👍👍👍❤
I think your talking about Amelia and her son Jenson from Skull Heads troop. Monkeys Inc. A haven of peace and serenity episode.
I thought it was baby Lucus and his mum. Monkey Inc video
@@yvonneconte3040 Could be. I remember two scenes. I couldn't remember who or which episode the other scene was.
Tina doesn’t carry her deceased babies, does she?
She would if they could produce another meal for her.
no, she cant be bothered
I'm not sure. We only see a glimpse into their lives. AM doesn't usually film Skull Heads troop and Monkeys Inc never really filmed much of Tina and Tiy. Honestly, I can't remember if we saw her carry Tibbin around after he died.
One must remember that macaques do not have the ability to critically think like us humans. They don't understand that the baby has died, thus they carry it around waiting for it to wake up. I would assume Tina did carry Tiy around for a while. She was already holding her when she was weak. Death is a difficult concept, even for us humans to comprehend.
@@sonyabilledo4303 Actually I don't think AM videos that behavior. I know he did with Dorothy when Beany died. (Dortys first)
@@pitbull1026 Well he has shown Lancy with Lanly and Lacy, Scotty's miscarriage, and Bo with Floffi's babies.
Poor Tiy didn't make it.
I believe tiy died sometime back, i saw Tina without Tiy in another video without her, a week ago.

Because the males don't ask for permission to impregnate a female.
Wow! Some people truly are clueless. 🙄🙄🙄
Darn you, Tina 😡😡😡
I think Tina just didn't produce enough milk.
Tina didn't do anything. She has always had lactation issues. IMO her diet is so sparse that she literally cannot produce enough nutrient rich milk to properly nourish her offspring. Please do a little research before you rain cussies down on poor Tina's head.
@@Lorraine-f7z oh please, I'm very well aware of Tina's misfortunes.
So what is she doing so wrong that she deserves to be cursed on?

am please tell us that fozzi got her boy back....
Hopefully po doesn’t kill this baby too! Tiy has been gone for 6 months already!
When did Tiy disappear?Did Po get hold of Tiy like she did with Flozzi babies?
Tina did not have enough milk for her.
She probably drank all her milk. She is seen drinking her own milk in he past.
