1999 Southern Railway operated Railbus from Thiruthuraipoondi to Agasthianpalli. This was the one and only Railbus from Southern Railway.

Not to Athirampattinam. It was Thirutthuraipoondi to Agasthiyampalli. I travelled in that.

Good coverage !! There used to be Railbus between Shivamogga and Talaguppa and another Railbus between Bangarapet Jn. and KGF ... many years ago.
There is a Rail Motorcar which operates on the Kalka-Shimla railway route in Himachal Pradesh. (This is actually a single coach Railbus.) There is another heritage train Shivalik express also on this route.
I used to travel simply between Kolar nd bangarpet on that time ❤️
