Actually your previous videos were inspiration to me to create my own icon pack, which I called "Simplistic iPhone app icon set". Back then I created my website, web shop and 1 product, all within 1 day! Thanks for inspiration for that!

I'll tweak it a bit more and hopefully will record finally first video this month. On the selling side of things (website/shop) there is nothing right now as I didn't invest any time into it after original creation. I hope it will increase once I get some reach. The good thing I learned a lot during this time (recording, lighting), took even some paid online workshops etc. Definetly more to come :)

Agree, people buy from people, for some examples you really need to have an audience and prove your expertise (for ecourse or ebook). For marketplaces, you can do without an audience.
Cool content but Woocommerce is much better than Shopify one the monthly charges are high and their code isn't open. Printful quality has went down immensely especially in regards to delivery of product. It was so bad that my customers had forgot they ordered & of course when they recalled it gave them a sour view on my business. Printify is absolutely CRUSHING them

Maybe you should talk about the pitfalls and the struggles of starting a business and using Shopify, and Printfy and how you don’t make any money the first few months. And making mistakes learning and filling orders. Instead of the mystique of all of this.
To be honest making courses or just teaching whether its by a refutable source or not that was the gold mine for 2022 and even during pandemic. People would shill their courses all over facebook and instagram aggressively at very cheap prices.

Stock photos and prints are nearly impossible to generate a reliable income stream from. Its only worth pursuing if you enjoy it as a hobby and don't mind investing many hours in it essentially for free. Yes people do make money from stock photos but ill just say good luck, many better ideas to pursue for passive income if that is your goal.

Can confirm this is solid advice. I've been making a consistent online income with digital products utilising affiliate marketing with clickbank. I've even got a video tutorial on my channel outlining the methods I've been using to hopefully inspire others to replicate them. Oliur your vids are exactly what people need and wish I would have discovered you 5 years ago when I was getting started haha. Thanks for your contributions bud.
Interesting for sure but what I've took away from this is that if don't have some sort of digital creators background or education in that field there is not much you can do make some money. I mean it's kinda obvious of course that even a digital product has to be created before it can be sold but again if you don't have the underlying expertise in a very specific (mostly technological) area you pretty much don't have the necessary tools to be able to sell something. :-/

With background I meant some sort of skills that needs to be already acquired/ learned in the field of technology and design like you said. It doesn't need to be an university degree but without this specific knowledge in the fields I mentioned I still believe that there are not many ways to get started. It makes sense tho because it's your unique perspective and experience (mainly design) in which you show us creative ways where your skills can be beneficial. And I think that's fine except from the fact that like I said earlier without these specific interests nearly none of these routes can be pursued sadly. But again showing us your perspective isn't "your fault" so to speak and maybe it would even be too much to ask for showing us other possibilities that have nothing to do with your particular strengths. In short of course everyone can learn this stuff (online) but if you don't have the interest (which is absolutely crucial for learning something on your own) there is not much left we can do. Thank you ^^ I can say that passive income is best income (I would even call my company Passive income ltd 😁), my stock photos and digital mockups made in Photoshop after 10 years they still make me money. My plan is to make my own marketplace since the ammount of products is becoming very decent.

I created a gumroad store a few weeks ago and in order to appear on their discover page you have to 3-4 purchases from different people exceeding $10. I uploaded a UA-cam video with one of my free templates to get some traction. Just got to keep on keeping on.
How do you just leave things in the background and they make you money.. I mean this probably comes from your organic marketing right ? There’s no way I’ll make an ebook and just leave it running and get buys. Idk

I was an early contributor on unsplash - now i see my photos being licensed out by them/ being used by big apps like notion, figma,, adobe to name a few my work is hidden behind paywalls. Lesson learned, I'm going to make sure my work is not given away for free going forward. the last video about print on demand really resonated with me.
Can you tell me what exactly changed? Because a few years ago everyone on unsplash could use the photos for whatever reason for free (even printing them on products and sell them).
You need a following/reputation to do any of these. Content creators with years of experience and fan bases built up over years act like anyone can just do any of these lol

I think timestamps for these type of videos would be very helpful
timestamps and chapters hurt watch time on average. so although they are great for us watching, it hurts the channel.

Of course there are costs to sell ebooks for millions. Lot´s of advertising and promotions. Those costs are not visible.

I didn't have a digital creators background. I learned accountancy in school and didn't even go to university. I learned everything I know online.
