I've donated hair as well for locks of love but I definitely didn't get my head shaved. I have donated about 12" of my hair every year and a half. It is a good cause and I support her =)

She is really brave to do that for such a good cause. She looks really good with a buzzcut and i wish people would stop making idiotic comments about how she looks 'stupid' and how is was 'stupid'.

all the beautiful gold strings comes off from the beauty. she looks great hanging left overs on her face chopping scissor is very small. she did not express any experession of losing hair when clipper is run on more of gold is falling looks great and thrilling and she has such a beautiful face any hair style suits her.

Until very recently, LOL was in poor standing with the Better Business Bureau. It is also a fact that recipients must qualify for wigs in the areas of familial income and must also write essays. Families are in fact charged for the production of the wig.
I'm disgusted from the comments saying what she did was a "stupid act". What if your child had to have Kemotherapy and lost all of their hair or had a hair condition and are unable to grow their own hair? Thanks to the more than generous donations from people like this girl, children and grown ups without their own hair can go out in pubic and not be looked upon as "weird". Yeah, She could have kept the "bob" but she made an unselfish statement. Learn from it. Her hair will grow back!
I agree whats with all the people saying she looks like a man..she looks cute..and ironically femanine. people with long hair are just so insecure they see women who have short hair like this or buzzcuts as threatening and they condem them because they are jeaous in a way...that these people have the confidence to pull it off.

You could at least try shoulder length and go shorter slowly. This woman really does pull off bald. A rare feat for anyone!
