Lee Youngji is actually the winner of High School Rapper 3. She's absolutely really skilled at rapping!
Bibi is more of a bedroom pop artist who got picked up by a prestige hiphop label, not really an idol though she’s managed to stake a foothold in the mainstream which is super impressive (and also why her stuff is so explicit). Still nuts that she and Lee YoungJi (I think a more bona vide rapper and entertainer/comedian?) would get to feature with their own explicit verses on an idol’s high profile song haha.

When she's hands-on of almost everything, you're going to get this. The result of Cube trusting Soyeon for this album really went well. She's gutsy, She's confident. She's amazing.
Soyeon is like those MC's in those manhwas thats so perfect you cant believe that they are real,living in the same earth as you. And for me Soyeon is the balance and perfect genius coz geniuses tends to just have a one very strong strengh and have a fatal weakness but Soyeons stats are all max plus her mental strenght is also iron strong. I still cant stop getting awe at her everytime she releases masterpieces heck even the way she speak-she knows how to put some intellectual/inspirational words

Oh Lee Youngji! She's an incredibly talented rapper and currently a star in the khh scene. She's everywhere. First female to win High School Rapper (from what I know) and her flow and her songs are sick! She's still so young too! Please check out her songs. Like "I am Lee Youngji"( my favorite rap wise) or "Dark Room" :) . She isn't an idol though

This song is something else man... I discovered Bibi with this song and WOW what a discover you should chek her out for sure. For info both Bibi and Youngji ARE NOT IDOLS. Bibi is a Khiphop/ KRnB artist and Youngji is a from The korean Rap scene.
I don't know much about Youngji but one chocking fact for me is that she is only 18yo XD ... like how much talent can you have this young.
For Bibi, since this song drop i've check her solo stuff and i am obssessed, not gonna lie she is on a repeat playlist since like 3weeks. Only dreamcatcher new album came to take some spot in my Spotify playlist. In general, her lyrics are pretty hard and impactful, she s clearly not a idol. Yes, Youngji was on Good Girl, her legend stage on it is her hit song I AM LEE YOUNGJI and it is ICONIC (u HAVE to check it out, she goes OFF), she's just 20 (that too korean age) and won the 3rd season of HIGHSCHOOL RAPPER, SHE IS SUCH A TALENTED RAPPER AND SUCH A FUN PERSON!!!!!!! She is the trend in korea rn basically!
You should check out the Soyeon's 3 Identity (trippleganger interview). It's funny and also interesting in that she shows 3 different persona's she kind of embodies within herself for the different types of songs she writes.

I'm glad Seekified requested this, I love both of these videos. "Is this bad b****** number" is a great song, there's something so awesome about seeing three female artists absolutely going off like that. And I love documentaries, so I'm really glad they made something like Blooming Windy Day. It's always interesting to hear that even somebody as multi-talented as Soyeon deals with imposter syndrome. I've heard similar thoughts from a lot of other great artists, so it seems to be a pretty common experience. She really does deliver every time with her music though, the Windy album is great.
Thanks so much for checking these out! This song is kind of like Dollar on steroids, imo. 😂 Windy is cool because it starts with Beam Beam and gets more savage with every track and ends with this.
And yeah, I love getting little glimpses into Soyeon's life and mind. I'm also a pretty cautious, risk-averse person so it's really inspiring to see someone like her just go for it, time after time, and kick ass doing it. It does feel like Cube is giving her a pretty long leash these days. Jeon CEO 😁

Man, you gotta listen to BIBI. She’s pretty tough & not singing / rapping the typical Korean idol content. Her videos are pretty interesting too. She’s def not afraid to push the envelope. Perfect to feature with Soyeon.
soloists are a different breed to idol groups haha it was my best descision to get into them
they have so much more say into what they can do and more connection to the music
the thing is besides soyeon, the other two are not idols, Youngji is a rapper and BIBI kinda does it all so they have more uniqueness in their expression and music styles as compared to what u might have seen in idol singers they're so many different genres to explore once u get to it
and maybe it is the different atmosphere and company that lets us see this crazy rapper side of soyeon we know from unpretty rapstar

Bibi is everything but not cute. I read some people call her "dark IU", because she looks and sounds a little bit like her. But instead of being wholesome, Bibi talks about some very serious and dark stuff in her songs.
Bibi is the most interesting artist I discovered in a long time. You should definetly check her out.
