In a show with so many cold scenes, this was definitely one of the coldest. Patrizia certainly didn't deserve this, she was always straight and loyal and didn't choose but was clearly forced into the game.
Why did Gena even kill her? If you see he didn't even kill Ciro whilet he guy killed his mom.. I'm not that far in the serie yet but Zia was just loyal to his dad no?
@@ibrahimciftci9599 I thought she ended up being really badass. I liked her cold, even psychopathic personality. She kinda reminded me of a female Gus Fring sometimes

Patricia doomed herself when she lied do Genny. He asked her about judge asking about him and she denied, while he was aware that Judge will ask, cause they know each other (judge and Genny had kids in same school).

She told this knowing that Genny was in Rome when don Pietro was killed, and that he had a lot of testimonies proving that, so he would escape any trial. Azzurra proved this showing the birth certificate of Pietro jr that was born at the exact same day don Pietro was killed. Patrizia literally died for nothing and only because of Genny's paranoia, which would lead to the downfall of everything in season 5, bringing also his only friend (Ciro) into war and then into the grave.
@@simoneesposito2436 yeah that’s the whole tragedy. Genny was certain that she betrayed him because she was cornered, but she used her smart to cover Jenny and trick judge.
@@simoneesposito2436 Genny did recognize this after he got the info. He even scolds Azzura bc of it. He realizes that Patri is always loyal and saves him in the end. Too bad you can't turn back time. I partly blame Azzura for Genny's decision as well. She did give him an earful about Patri throughout the season even though she saved her ass and Genny before.

Patrizia knew Gennaro wasn't in Naples that day, because he was in Rome watching his newborn son, who is born in the same moments don Pietro was killed in Naples. When the judge found don Pietro's corpse, he asked Azzurra about it and wanted to frame Genny for this murder, but Azzurra provided proof that Genny was at the hospital in Rome with her. Patrizia told this to the judge knowing that Genny could not be framed for that and would be free from any accusations, and saved Genny.

I'm probably in the minority but I liked the character of Patrizia. Even though her storyline in season 4 was lacking.
