@@DudeSoWindruid is traaaaash. Still useable but you have to work way harder than any other class. They need a slight buff in magic and a refactor in the coding of hitboxes on forms. Especially the oversized cat hit box and and trying to swap forms while standing on the slightest little change in terrain shape

Druids are busted as shit and y’all are dumb if you say it isn’t. A Druid in full greens can reach 44 strength in bear form and one tap you in the head with full purple plate on. I know because it literally fucking happened and I spectated him and saw all fucking greens and I got ONE SHOT. Super great game. Nerf Druid bear into the fucking ground

He is right though, it really is garbage. Combat is wonky, hitboxes are bad, meta is terrible, dev balancing decisions are laughable, servers are bad.. It's a cool game and I really do wish it was good but it isn't. It's just addictive.
@@christianlandgrave5796 Go play Dungeonborne and then go play Dark and Darker. Dark and Darker isn't perfect by any means, but compared to its competitors, it is absolutely a good game regarding its genre and balancing. Dungeonborne is in v1.0 and still feels like a waste of time to play with some of the most unbalanced PvP I have ever played.
Dark and Darker is coming out with another new map next season, Sorcerer is slated to release at some point during or after that season, has quests and rewards to grind for, more interesting build varieties, more bosses and minibosses, Arena mode is coming next season, and it's not even v0.8. It's all good to dislike the game, but let's not act like it isn't an objectively good game, just not *your* kinda game.

literally every complant summit has against druids are exactly what i said for the longest time, and all my buddies said, "its not that broken" and its cause they all played it XD. and after a while the class was nerfed and only bear form is really viable now but the fact that rat can still do what it does and they can still jump across an entire room with panther and chicken is insane
If you had the explosive bottle during the druid fight you should have thrown it at his rat form.

Hey summit quick tip for longsword vs longsword. If they go for the stab, look all the way bottom left and swipe quickly up to top right. They may still hit you but you usually hit a parry ❤️

Just started the game last week and have been learning ranger as my first class. Didn't realize druids in rat form had low HP and got lucky with an arrow when they switched to rat form lol 1 shot that little rodent

i think druids are only difficult to fight as slow classes like fighter and barb. any ranged classes can wipe the floor with them.

@@blindfire3167 ? I'm not sure if your agreeing with me, adding additional info or disagreeing with me. But I clearly stated what makes the form A tier. You can technically hit rat as well, but to hit it on panther, chicken dash is crazy and I have yet to see a clip of that is being done.

5:23 you would have killed him had you gone into your short sword combo after the first 2 bonks, attacks come out faster you could have competed with the dagger hits, he fucked up having the bow out right there when you got those bonks in, super close fight
Druids alot more balanced on dungeonborne, I barely even struggle against them but on dark and darker they are broken, can simply just turn into a rat with a slightly faster movement speed meaning hes getting away + hes fucking TINY

The classes seem to have counters. They want you to play in squads not solo from the look of it. Kits work together but alone they tend to be X beats Y beats Z beats X
This game has a high skill ceiling, he's also trying the game 2 full months into a new season, everyone has thousands of gold, and hundreds of hours. Just gotta learn and git gud

In dungeon borne the Druid isn’t really bad. Definitely killable. All classes are good in my opinion, how ever the ones that shine the most are currently cryomancer, Druid, sword master , and death knight. (Druid can only transform into a panther) (also for chicken form in dark and darker. If you afk in chicken form, the chicken will eat of the floor and heal up ur character)

New classes are always broken on release. But Iron Mace works a lot faster than Battle State Games on delivering updates so we can bet on them finding a better balance with the class in the future.

It would be so nice if there was just a pure melee game like this, bows, and such are cool, but casting is so dumb because it's hard to balance, etc... Sword fights are just more satisfying. Also, I do believe gear should never guarantee a win, that's just dumb.

PVP is more addicting than Crack.
Druid could have died so many times during the fights with summit. Having an explosive bottle, a torch, or axe that can all kill a rat with a single throw. but doesn't use them is so infuriating to watch.
The only thing that has a real chance of killing the rat is explosive bottle
@@xenird And a bow if you know they keep coming in to try and bully you, let them make the mistake of getting close then turning into rat and using a survival or recurve bow to try to get them. Typically they don't start bobbing and weaving until after the form starts, so there's a period while they're changing you can hit them because they're moving in a straight line. It's not easy and stupidly annoying to do, but there *are* ways he could have taken down the rat other than just bottle.
My favorite is the drum since it gets thrown quickly enough it should kill if a druid gets too close and panics lmfao

Because all spells cost 3 times more health if you use the life steal perk. And the DPS of the class is low.

The easiest way to nerf the druid: Cooldown timer between switching into and out of forms
he could have just throw the molly on the rat and it would have been the end of the fight... but he tried to chase him when he had the perfect counter for it
@@itherealykb1317 I'm not denying a molly on the rat form would be an easy kill, I'm just stating a simple solution to an absurd issue. There shouldn't be 10 form changes in the span of 10 seconds, you should have to be tactical and choose the right form for the right job. IF they added a form change cooldown, they could easily bring back some of the nerfs they already applied to the druid to make it a more tactical class instead of a "I'm gonna switch 10 times and heal while it happens."

druid is largely considered one of the worst classes in the game atm at high levels cuz if you know how to counter him hes pretty easy.

i played back in the playtest then when they released their own launcher because it was removed from steam. love the game now and then. just returned this wipe and i have been having so much fun with the bear build druid. it feels so dynamic and fresh im excited to see new changes they go for. jaygriff said it perfectly, everything is worth trying once. if it flops it flops and just try something else. i died 100 times or more before i was decent at druid. it takes alot of time to learn, much more time than anay other class. as a druid, i have died dozens of times because of rat only having 8 hp. you get insta killed by anything. there are risks. and there are timing you need to learn. i agree some stuff needs nerfing, but the animal forms take alot of skill to get down right.

As much as Summit complained about this game, the druid rant is kinda on point. Not only is it very strong, it also is absolutely one of the lamest experiences in the game. Rat form spamming is completely lame, it's basically a free instant phantomize that is nearly impossible to punish

Bro druid is trash as hell and has been gutted. You can’t shapeshift half the time. Heals dont scale with stats so they don’t do a ton at higher gear levels. Cat hitbox is twice the size of his actual model. Bear is so slow you only get hit if YOU walk into it. No damaging magic spells except one tickling spell. 2 treants that get stuck on terrain or one shotted and killed instantly.
Needs a buff. Unless you just run face first into his bear form lol
