I think its mostly because VAG cars are more apt to show you a check engine light in general in cases where other cars wouldn't. For example, I've had cars with toasted O2 sensors, massive vacuum leaks and constant misfires have no check engine light at all, where as my MK5 will show a check engine light for something as simple as a single random misfire that happened 4 days ago.

@@heavenbxl9126 Eh gars , toutes les voitures atteignent 250000km ,même la Fiat la moins fiable , par contre combien vont dépasser les 400 000 .....pas beaucoup je te le dis , la magie des pompes injection Bosch sur les tdi et la magie des moteurs tout court pour les essence sportives . Essaye de trouver une golf 5 GTI avec plus de 300 000km sur leboncoin ou autre , il n y en a pas et il n y en aura jamais a moins d un rebuild moteur , les tsi c est de la vraie camelotte , performants certes , mais moins fiable qu une Fiat Uno .

Superbe voyant moteur allumé.... VW et fiabilité...deux choses incompatibles.
Pourtant ma Golf roule toujours aussi malgré que ce soit une essence de 2004. Elle a 230 000km et aucun soucis avec. VW est une bonne marque.
