That part where she grabs the doll slamming it and then puts on a wig demanding to be called Trixie, as a kid that was funny, as an adult I'm very terrified and scared for Trixie and also feel bad for Veronica. This is how kidnapping and murder stories start if not just stalking.
I feel bad for veronica, she wants to be trixie so bad, that is not trying to be herself.
Honestly I always thought that it was because she didn't like herself. Trixie treats her terribly and even degrades her, so she probably thought if she was more like Trixie, who was the popular pretty perfect girl, she'd be happier and get admiration that she desired. But I also don't doubt she also holds a lot of resentment towards Trixie despite her almost obsessive way of trying to become like her.

I know everyone compares her to Tootie, but honestly Veronica's such an unique character for the series, she's almost like a Helga for the series, except way, WAY more anxious and paranoid, which kinda made her stand out... heck, she even had more personality than Trixie (arguably)
whereas Tootie was much more focused on her crush with Timmy, she doesn't care too much about keeping up an image because she doesn't have anything to lose... Veronica on the other hand, was one of the top dogs regarding popularity, right below Trixie, and it's shown she'd rather keep her crush a secret than becoming unpopular for liking a loser, which again, wouldn't happen with Tootie
overall, she's always been different enough to stand out from the rest of the cast, and the paranoid popular girl with a secret crush trope can be really good even for a show focused on comedy

Like, imagine if Trixie secretly had a Fairy God Parent and it was Veronica. It wouldn't make that much sense, but at the same time it kind of would since Trixie never had the courage to show her tomboy side and that plus constantly trying to hold up the image of being the most popular girl in school might have secretly brought Trixie depression as that wasn't entirely the person she was at one point as we know because of her tomboy side for example.

Veronica's the Heather Duke of the popular kids, I swear. Plus, it bugs me that her crush on Timmy is brought up twice and then the show kinda forgets about it. Then again, she doesn't appear nearly as much as Trixie does.

Seriously, this is something that makes the Fairly Oddparents not stand up as an adult, in my opinion. I rewatched "The Boy Who Would Be Queen" and was actually shocked at how interesting and developed Trixie was. She was lonely even in her privileged social class and genuinely liked Timmy once she got to know him. She was obviously touched by his gesture at the party and that could have led to some great developments between the two if they didn't reset to the status quo at the end of the episode. This show could have been SO MUCH BETTER than it was if Butch Hartman weren't such a hack.

Honestly, i miss veronica. Timmy's gotten so much added to his magical roster that its pushed out a lot of side characters. Like someone even asked butch hartman "what happened to Chester and AJ, you know, Timmy's best friends?" and he's like "oh they're still there, look" and then he pulls out a screenshot of a school classroom and reveals that they're in the background, and never interact with timmy.

I really enjoyed most of the side characters(Veronica,Trixie,AJ,Chester,and Francis)more in the early seasons than the additions of characters(Sparky,Chloe,Foop) in the later seasons,we led to the side characters being dumped from focus after Season 5.

Just think: Timmy could've found maturity if he actually accepted Veronica as his girl, but he could've lost his fairies in the process.
Which might've been an awesome, bittersweet finale as he learns to let go of his magical advantage and leaves the nest, finding happiness even though he has to say goodbye.
I feel like for Veronica to ever get there, she would have had to have seen the life Timmy had been dealt with and would have actually needed to care enough to want to do something to help make Timmy’s life better (such as getting rid of Vicky and Crocker). Sadly, she never had the pieces to make it happen, and I don’t know if Trixie would have ever helped her figure it out because of how little Trixie cared.

As a child, I laughed with confusion, as an adult I pitied her.
Both Veronica and Trixie have the same kind of thing. Peer pressure stalks them more than anything, they try to get along with Timmy but Tad, Chad, Remy, and dozens of others gave them labels and they have to unfortunately decline Timmy due to their high regarded caliber. Despite only appearing a couple of times in “Emotion Commotion” I bet my prettiest flaming hat Veronica actually liked what she saw. Which explains the continued love for him in future episodes I think. Veronica was robbed HARD. She definitely should’ve gotten an episode.

At the beginning as a young boy I first laughed at Veronica. The years passed and the older I grew the more bad I felt for her but I also learned to empathize for her as a character in the show. Also I think she could have had a good character development spending time with the right person ( ... Timmy maybe ... ) trying to understand and talk with her instead of just disappearing like many other characters did later on ... despite since the beginning of the series most characters didn't show developement at all, Trixie's the best example for beeing blocked from character developing, lmao 😆

When I was watching Fairy Odd Parents as a kid, I always hated Trixie, Veronica, Ted and Chad. But, as I was growing up, I begin to understand that these type of kids are born and also spoiled by their own parents in majority of families who have high social or economic status. She didn't stalk Timmy because her obsession to be like Trixie outweighed her crush on Timmy, and the fact that she had to keep up appearances as one of the popular kids, it benefitted Timmy because if it wasn't for any of that, she would've been so much worse than Tootie. Veronica's obsessions are far more intense than Tootie's. You could even say one of the possible reason's why Veronica obsessed over Trixie's life was because Timmy liked Trixie and not her, especially considering the last scene in this video.

Vimmy is the only ship that seems right mostly because Tootie being stalker who does,nt know no means no, (although Timmy is also this to a lesser extent to trixie ) Trixie another promising character being flanderized so badly to the point of her only personality trait being popular (Once again flanderization is the biggest problem of Fairly odd parents in general but it's more disappointing with Trixie) Thanks to the incredibly low bar of sanity with timmy's love interests, Vimmy would most likely be healthiest relationship and possibly the most loving relationship but would definitely be the cutest relationship like I can easily see them bonding about how people hurt them and helping each other heal the wounds left by others . It's a true shame Fairly odd parents went down as that show that suffered through seasonal decay instead of the masterpiece it could've been if it didn't ignore the potential of the the characters and Veronica is an excellent example of one of these characters and honestly would have made a better protagonist for the show than Timmy

I mean if I remember correctly (now don't butcher me on this one its just based on my observation as the show goes) one of the things that could get you a fairy odd parent was to have a miserable life which was proven in the episode where Timmy lost the fairies and got put with one of his friends AJ was it? idk forgot but yeah, Timmy had a neglectful parent, an evil baby sitter and just not being loved by everyone, but veronica isn't miserable she just has bad taste in friends and is unlucky because Timmy cant wish for a better eye sight. Same thing with Trixie she is rich has everything she can have, just bad taste in friends, I think she only wants someone to love her for who she is not what she has, but not miserable, which is shown in one of the episode of her birthday party, cant say for tootie though kind of the same situation with Timmy but i think the reason why tootie cant get a fairy because fairies are scared of Vicky i mean the girl literally has a torture chamber in their bedroom , but yeah dont get the logic on why Chloe gets a share with the fairies, she isn't miserable yes her parents are all over the place, which that would make my own head go berserk, but she looks like she's proud of them for doin it and understands it, maybe because she's "nice" but still that literally give a hole on the logic with the original... agree with Vimmy being the best ship here, just sad they didn't actually put any effort on progressing any of the stories with the original side characters... i mean it is a kids show but eh.. .wouldn't hurt to complain right

What said about them having bad friends and coming from different financial backgrounds which is true about some people. They always have a poor choice in friends. When it comes to popularity, people were always desperate to be a part of the "popular kids" clique and to those who are support the uneven balance of popular and unpopular and hold those qualifications and standards accountable to those whom they see don't rep or fit it. Think about it. Your bad attitude, personality and viewpoint only attracts and keeps the people you want in your life or in your circle of friends. So the lesson for this as I'm sure everyone should know is choose your friends carefully, if you're already aware, and if you found out at the last minute, you'll know and learn who your friends are if they stab you in the back and treat you badly. It a sad fact.
@@jokerapm5744 Same here. I was confused on why Chloe gets fairy godparents when they're specifically assigned to children who are miserable and Chloe isn't miserable at all. Also Chloe was completely unnecessary to this show and if he had to share his fairies it should've been with someone like Tootie because both have been abused by Vicky, and Tootie's life is twice as miserable as Timmy considering that Tootie lives with Vicky, and Timmy gave his fairies to Tootie for one day so I would've made sense for Tootie and Timmy to share fairies. Honestly, what happened to this once good show and all it's side characters?

Chloe was just another one of those totally late as fuck surprise characters who just popped right up into the show out of nowhere at the last second during its poorly development stage, and for some odd reason Poof is nowhere to be seen, and Sparky just happens to already be forgotten after only appearing in one season. Season 9 was his debut, by the way and Poof's was season 6 after the fairly odd baby movie, but where the hell did Chloe come from? Heck, speaking of Poof, he appeared in the season 10 theme song that featured Chloe, but why the heck doesn't he appear? That doesn't make any sense. But oh well, I guess it just shows what very little things the creators can do in some certain amount of time before giving up
