Hello. Thanks for the video! What is the real height of this tower cooler (Noctua NH-D15) with RAM installed? The front fan is located above the RAM bars, they do not allow the fan to be as low as the middle one. What is the maximum height of the RAM slats is acceptable, so that the front fan fastened does not exceed 165mm? What will the author say in response?
Hi, the reason why the cooler is on the upper side is due to the ram slots height limits. I am using an Aorus B550mini ITX and the ram slots are very close to the CPU slot, thus making it impossible with the second fan to be at the same level.I know there are many users that they don’t use the second fan, just the first one in the middle. Also the ram sticks I use they have a radiator which makes the fan stick out a little bit upper. In case you do not like that you can change the fan with a smaller dimension, I recommend Noctua Fans. I do not have a full ATX motherboard to check if the ram clearance is the same, but I think it isn’t.
