I prefer longer days! The Sims frustrates me with how short the in-game days are-you can barely get anything done. Every morning, my Sims wake up and have to go straight to work. If they wake up at 6 a.m. and need to be at work by 8 a.m., it somehow takes them two in-game hours just to pee and wash their hands. It’s so annoying-they don’t even have time to eat! I’m beyond excited that we’ll now have the ability to customize the length of our days!
Yes! I had this same issue on Sims2, my child was too bored to do her homework, then too sleepy to do her homework, it was never enough hours in game to fill he needs and do her responsibilities!
I hope they aren’t stressing too much to meet demands, inZOI already looks so amazing! The gameplay in the demos won me over long ago-everything else is a major bonus imo!✨
I'm worried about it, too. I don't want this project discontinued bc they feel they can never meet our demands. I don't think that will happen, but I'm just hoping players are patient with the process.
the needs of players around the world will certainly never be met, there must be something that is requested. in my opinion the best thing is how they focus on the current system and features while they develop other features and update them in the future.
Maybe one solution to deal with a 3 minute sleep time would be for that to be the time players review the stats for the day, find out who's naughty and who's nice, report in to the cat, visit some 24 hour venues to see what's going on with the rest of the town, etc.? If that kind of thing could be done while the clock was still running, that might help with the waiting during the night. In Sims 3 I used Nraas Relativity mod to adjust the sim's needs and adjust time in the game which gave the sims more time in the day to get things done. Also while they were sleeping, I'd send the pets out hunting or roaming around, or I'd check some other lots to see if anything interesting was going on.
I can appreciate having longer days. Gives you time to actually enjoy the game without being stressed out. I think it would be cool if the 24 hour time matched our same exact time irl. I’m satisfied with what they’ve done, thanks for giving us the individual option to choose time for our own needs. I can’t wait to play this game. Good work overall!!
Personally I love the laid back longer days. No rush! In real life I like going in my own pace. Sims felt too rushed for me. So I love this decision to allow us to choose our own preference in how long a day should be.
This level of customization is a dream and honestly a huge testament to how much the developers actually love the game and their community. I truly love to see it but, as you alluded to, what I’m most concerned abt is gameplay development. As long as that’s fully fleshed out by launch (bc I felt there was a lot of basic gameplay elements that were missing back when they launched the demo to creators), I’m getting the game-no question
Things definitely won't be completely fleshed out by early access launch. Early acees is not a polished/finished game. The game will still be in development. But at least they have acknowledged they need to flesh out a lot of the gameplay. Luckily we're getting early access as they continue to work on it with our feedback.
Indeed, a day in the Sims goes by so fast! I guess it can make for a more challenging gameplay (which some players might prefer) but it doesn't give you much time to even explore all the extra content we've paid for with expansion packs, etc. 😅
I swear Kjun" Kim is such a great developer always asking what players want it's amazing the fact that he listens I just love it I can not wait.....Just amazing ❤❤❤❤
I absolutely love that they listen and value feedback and essentially let the player lead the development of the game. This is the way to go. Im beyond excited to get my hands on it.
I love love love the longer days as sims to me always felt soooo rushed! I can finnaly chill and enjoy a normal day with my zois with no stress and rush! This is amazing i will deffs try the 24hour real day! ❤❤
the 24 hours real life time = 1 inzoi day is actually pretty exciting to me, Inzoi has made my dream game since young come true and if the real life time is the same as inzoi time I would be so darn excited to hop on Inzoi whenever I feel like wanting to live in a video game during my off days.
im kinda excited and scared for EA, I've seen other games go into ea and then get bad reviews because most people don't know what ea means and then get mad that the game isn't up to the standards that they hoped
I hope players will realize early access means the game is not finished yet and that we’re just playing it as they continue to work on it. Everyone should expect bugs and such. 🤗
I feel like if the days are too long we won't feel there's a challenge. 🤔 And during the influencer videos I noticed how long it took to complete only a single day. I'd say 30 minutes would be the best, at least to me and my type of gameplay.
Same I think the sims 4 is too short but once InZoi is out the players won’t be able to edit the game time speed anymore… encouraging a happy medium would be a good idea like a 45 minute day is good it’s over twice as long as a sim day so it should be more than enough time… being forced to take up half a year of your irl time to get through ONE Zoi’s entire life will not be the fun people think it will be for anyone planning on playing the game longterm, 90 min days will slowly kill the gameplay experience and it would become frustrating pretty fast…
I think a crucial point that's forgotten by all those people who want to make the sleep time faster is that you can switch to any zoi at any time the zoi you were playing went to sleep? go to another zoi and play with them in the meantime
I'm stuck if I want to do the 96 minutes or the 4 hours one, for me I like to spend as much time as I can in one day in a game like this, but not the whole real day, so this works perfectly for me. I always felt rushed in the sims and I am so happy they are doing things like this for Inzoi, I am defiantly preordering this as soon as it goes on sale.
Although Kjun is new to the life sim genre, he is very experienced with creating games. Hopefully he will know when to draw the line. I know he has all his heart into creating this game and having it be successful so I trust he will not fail.
Nah i dont want 24 real hrs, i need to go to work with my frickin zoi, but i cant wait 8 hrs when im home at 7pm and wake up at 4am and play InfinityNikki and other things.... HELL NAH. I hope they wont do that to me....
I remember in The Sims 3 I downloaded a mod with longest time, especially 24 hour time and I loved it. I left my PC on like a screen saver. xD Welp, it kinda affected my Sims hungry and they had to eat 10 times a day! 😂
i persoally would prefer longer days. on sims if im playing without cheats my sims never have time to do activities of other DLCs because they need to eat, head work, shower, eat, sleep. it sinks into just base game features and the only way for them to actually do cool stuff is if they dont have a job or if i cave in and cheat.
I appreciate the inclusion of shorter days, while I love the choice of long days and will probably explore the that option first to be acquainted with the world, I will eventually go to the shorter options to keep gameplay fun. For me, it can get stale real quick.
I'm not sure how they changed the length of activities (if they did) depending on the length of day. I'm sure there are still things to be worked out. Luckily they are up for the challenge.

@ oh yay!!! I had no idea they were giving us the option to change the day length ourself I just thought whatever they decide would be permanent but it’s WAY better to let us change it ourself🙌
i like how they listen to the community unlike *cough* EA *cough* and they give us more option but we can't ask too much cause im sure there will be some things they can do. We need to give them alot of appreciation for listening to us and don't complain about the bugs and glitches when the beta release cause we can't expect not bugs and glitches
I like the idea of doing more stuff but I only get a couple hrs to play so I’d get like 1 day done and that’s it so I’d like a shorter day but it’s fine if they are longer.
I must say I am shocked that they have provided all of the options for time that they have. Granted that until this video I never even considered how fast a day goes in any game, be it Sims or Cyberpunk 2077 or even Fallout 76. The only questions I have, that might or might not have already been addressed, is what happens if you have two Zoi one who works a day shift the other a night shift, or even just sleeps in that fashion, what would be the outcome for a player in that regard? Or another question is, what would happen with baby/infant needs if a player would use the upwards of 10x speed option?
Good questions, friend! I imagine time would keep going at whatever pace you preselected if any of your household Zois are awake, since you’d assume you’re playing with them while the other Zoi sleeps. Not sure about baby, though! 🤔 I think I’d go insane if I had to program all of these intricate scenarios. 😅
I'm assuming so. There are multiple empty lots (some with pre-existing houses and some ready to build on) so I assume you can populate them all with families.

Interesting idea!
24 real hours....i feel like this will be a challenge im willing to take on
Imagine living your life simultaneously with your Zois! 😅
@SugarZoi my goodness, does that mean you can play one zoi your whole life!
I can appreciate having longer days. Gives you time to actually enjoy the game without being stressed out. I think it would be cool if the 24 hour time matched our same exact time irl. Same here!
Agree
agreed!

@@SugarZoi exactly also look at how slow they eat or do things. It needs to be a perfect balance and I don’t think it’s there.
What works for me is to have the game speed up at night or after my household goes to bed.
I swear Kjun" Kim is such a great developer always asking what players want it's amazing the fact that he listens I just love it I can not wait.....Just amazing ❤❤❤❤
Agreed! He’s definitely won us over with his passion for this game and dedication to our community. 🥰
i wish you can actually see inside universities and what is happening during my zoi's classes
I absolutely love that they listen and value feedback and essentially let the player lead the development of the game. This is the way to go. Im beyond excited to get my hands on it.
I"m actually really excited for the option to try out the 24hr day.
I hope they do something about clipping. Characters walking through each other or objects.
In time, hopefully. I'm sure there's a lot to fix still.
I can't imagine playing at 24 real hours/game day. I've got a real life to live)))
I love love love the longer days as sims to me always felt soooo rushed! I can finnaly chill and enjoy a normal day with my zois with no stress and rush! This is amazing i will deffs try the 24hour real day! ❤❤
That flexibility is amazing tbh. 10x speed while asleep is perfect.
24hours???? Aaaaaah i love it!!

@natasha9474 exactly! That's my worry.
I think a crucial point that's forgotten by all those people who want to make the sleep time faster is that you can switch to any zoi at any time
the zoi you were playing went to sleep? go to another zoi and play with them in the meantime
That works as long as you are not playing with a single zoi household. 😊
I'm stuck if I want to do the 96 minutes or the 4 hours one, for me I like to spend as much time as I can in one day in a game like this, but not the whole real day, so this works perfectly for me. @@SugarZoi well like I said I want to use either the 96 or the 4 hr one, I do like my days longer, but I'd probably never use the 24 hr one. lol
Like someone said, while your zoi is sleeping you can have time to check stats
I didn't get to play inworld so idk what I would like. All I was able to do was make a character, so I'm still waiting to see how the game actually is
I fear "all of the above" demands will break the game
Although Kjun is new to the life sim genre, he is very experienced with creating games. Hopefully he will know when to draw the line. I know he has all his heart into creating this game and having it be successful so I trust he will not fail.

That's a difficult schedule! No, 24 hr gameplay is definitely not for you, lol. Luckily you will have the freedom to choose a shorter time in inZOI. 😊
Wow 😮 I am very amazed! I really can't wait now to support this game!
I remember in The Sims 3 I downloaded a mod with longest time, especially 24 hour time and I loved it. I left my PC on like a screen saver. xD

Yayyy new video❤❤
🥰
Can they not shorten the amount of time it takes to do activities for different times? So many other games have short days with no issues.
I'm not sure how they changed the length of activities (if they did) depending on the length of day. I'm sure there are still things to be worked out. Luckily they are up for the challenge.
I hope they update the zois to blink. It was a little creepy.
oh, true!
I would love a medium. 70min would be great 👍

I think there’s a 48 minute option. You can change the length of day at any time throughout your gameplay so you can try them all out. 😊
@ oh yay!!! I had no idea they were giving us the option to change the day length ourself I just thought whatever they decide would be permanent but it’s WAY better to let us change it ourself🙌

I'd pick 35 mins but probs 24 or 48 most like 24
The sims would give us only 2 options that are both ass in the form of a 10 dollar dlc
😅
Is this game going to be on ps
Yes, eventually. They will release on PC first then consoles. No date given for consoles yet.
one thing i haven’t seen yet is do we get to have multiple household in one world like the sims?
I'm assuming so. There are multiple empty lots (some with pre-existing houses and some ready to build on) so I assume you can populate them all with families.
exactly what I feared, the players demand so much and KJun wants to please everyone, hence the EA shift🥲
