  • Tashi Delek!
It’s time to continue our journey to Gyantse County. This is the part 2.
As a part of all regular trips from Lhasa to Shigatse, Gyantse always leaves the impression of the Pelkor Monastery and Gyantse Kumbum. However, traveling with me, I will take you deep into the heroic town and see how interesting the usual life is in Gyantse.
This time, I will take you to the home of a local carpenter. Here you can not only taste traditional Tibetan drinks such as Tibetan butter tea and Tibetan barley wine handmade by the hostess but also visit the family workshop to see how a traditional Tibetan carpenter works.
I will lead you off the beaten part to discover the hidden gems and meet all those beautiful locals for a truly unforgettable experience.
Hope you enjoy my video as before. Also, I look forward to meeting you in Tibet and taking you on a journey through my hometown.

the grassland was green when you left,
    the Galsang flowers were blooming,
    livestock wandered around.
    you crossed that river,
    climbed over that snow mountain,
    went to India alone.
the grassland turned green and turned yellow again,
the Galsang flowers bloomed and faded again,
the snow mountain is still there,
    the river is still there,
    the livestock are still there,
    but you are gone.
    Dolma is back,
    Tashi is back,
    when will you come back?
the snow mountain is waiting for your returning,
the grassland is waiting for your returning,
old a ma la is waiting for your returning,
when will you come back ?
    in the night,
    on the grassland,
there is a Tibetan house with lights on.
    it's your long-lost home,
the eternal light is lit by Tibet for you,
to light you way home in the dark.
    when you come back,
    you carry an empty backpack,
    when you come back,
    your temples are already gray,
    when you come back,
you definitely will see that bright lamp on the grassland in the dark.
    when you come back,
    no matter how far,
    no matter how long,
you will be back to Tibet.

I never heard bhutanese restaurant in lhasa .if there really were ,the bhutanese restaurants must be very popular in lhasa .there are several Nepal restaurants in lhasa though .they are popular among the locals and tourists .I have met with many bhutanese tourists group in lhasa .I knew they are from Bhutan because of their traditional clothes .

I'm always have questions about Tibetan & Bhutanese people. Are they cousins? Are their languages, cultures, religions, etc same or almost the same? Because China's Tibet & Bhutan are connected by land. I don't really know about Bhutan. I just heard about it only.

    • @malorybertie8046

@@RoseRose-gk6ku the bhutanese =50% Tibetan +35 Nepalesse +15% Menba and Loba. the official language Dzongkha is kind of a dialect of Tibetan language .the grammar is same ,85% words are same ,only the pronunciation is different .the king of Bhutan is Tibetan .the king of sikkim is Tibetan too .they are like two cousins .the looks are close ,and the language is close too. by the way ,when I read the Dzongkha words on the buildings of Thimphu,I can understand the meaning .but I can't totally understand their speaking ,maybe 30%~~~.when bhutanese see the songs from Tibet ,they can totally understand the song's meaning ,but on the contrary ,the Tibetan in Tibet have to guess the meaning of the song from Bhutan ,perhaps Tibetan Chinese can understand 60%~90% Bhutan song's meaning . of course ,the Dzongkha words on the wall of Thimphu's building is easy to understand if they are just bank or hotel ,etc.

@@RoseRose-gk6ku you are always welcome 😊.the relationship between Dzongkha and Tibetan is very similar to the relationship between Mandarin and Cantonese ,the grammar is same ,most of the words are same , some words are different ,pronunciation is different ,etc .but the language of Menba and Loba and Nepalese are different .

    False information:
A Tibetan girl or lady wearing Tibetan traditional apron doesn’t symbolise they were married in many other Tibetan regions. As we have must know that we have three provinces such as (kham Amdo Utsang.) So Utsang might be wore apron by ladies married but in Kham regions , Tibetan girls, women and ladies all wear traditional apron as a fashion and for looking beautiful. They use to wear it on very special occasions too .
Actually you guys doing great job but sometimes small mistake can change the entire meaning of the reality. Be careful next time.
